These thin burgers are a classic summer favorite, perfect for grilling outdoors. They're simple to make and can be customized with your favorite toppings.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 hamburger buns. Lettuce leaves. Sliced tomatoes. Sliced onions. Ketchup. Mustard. Cheese slices optional.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Cut the ground beef into four equal pieces and press each one into a thin burger patiety. Add salt and pepper to both sides of the patties. Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them for two to three minutes on each side for medium-rare. If you like your burgers more done, cook them for longer. If you want cheeseburgers, you can add cheese slices on top of the patties in the last minute of cooking. While the patties are cooking, put the hamburger buns on the grill and toast them until they get a little brown. The burgers and buns should be taken off the grill. To make the burgers, put a burger patty on the bottom half of each bun, then lettuce leaves. Add tomato and onion slices to the top of each patty. On the top half of the buns, spread ketchup and mustard. Then, put them on top of the burgers to finish the sandwiches. Put your thin burgers out right away with your favorite sides, and enjoy!

Roti Jala, also known as Lacey Crepes, are a traditional Malaysian and Indonesian delicacy. These beautiful, intricate crepes are perfect for soaking up the flavors of curries and gravies. They are called 'lace pancakes' due to their delicate, net-like appearance.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 cup coconut milk. 1/2 cup water. 1 egg. 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, coconut milk, water, egg, turmeric powder, and salt until you have a smooth batter. Strain the batter through a fine sieve to remove any lumps or impurities. Heat a non-stick crepe pan or a roti jala mold over medium-high heat and lightly grease it with vegetable oil. Pour a small amount of the batter into the mold or pan and quickly move it in a circular motion to create a lacy pattern. Cook for about 1-2 minutes or until the crepe is set and the edges start to lift. Do not flip it over. Carefully remove the crepe from the pan or mold and place it on a plate. Fold it into a triangle or roll it up. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, adding more oil to the pan or mold as needed. Serve the Roti Jala crepes with your favorite curry or condiments.
