💫witch tips I've gathered for the past 8 years that have worked for me💫
some you may have seen before, some you may have not 💜
☆ . +.。 . 。, ☆ ゚. + ☆ * 。゚. o, 。 . + ゚ ☆
- blow cinnamon into your front door in the beginning of each month to welcome in abundance.
- speaking of abundance, mix basil in your mop water before you clean your floors.
- the upside down broom trick works. if you don't know what i mean, turn your broom upside down (bristle side up) and have it near your door to ward off unwanted guests
- if you can, avoid welcome mats. it's literally inviting unwanted energy into your home. if you already have one, just turn it to face the door. OR draw sigils and intent under the mat to specify which energies or being are welcome and which aren't.
- got those cute polaroids of you and your friends? put up a photo wall if it's to your taste, and pay attention to the ones that keep falling. they either may not be doing well, or they may not be wishing you well.
- for the art witches, especially the ones that sell their art, put that intention into your moon water and use it as paint water.
- another tip for the art witches, use sigils when staining your board
- and another for art witches, treat your brush like your wand
- for the 🍃💨 ouid witches, write intentions or sigils on your wrappers, and even pens!
- you used rice and crystal CHIPS for your money bowl, and now that you're refreshing it, it's kinda tedious to pick out the chips? use a selenite stick to stir the bowl. bam. refreshed and no hassle.

for my fellow chronically fatigued witches out there who also involve themselves with spirits: there is no shame in asking who you worship or work with to charge or fuel your magic. prommy.

Let yourself be cringe in your worship!!!
The Gods don’t find you embarrassing. The Gods don’t care about seeming cool and professional for the approval of others.
Make that fucking aesthetic photo collage for Aphrodite with cute pics you found on Pinterest .
Dress up like Hermes and go for a damn walk.
Collect random stones you think are cool and put them on your altar.
Put that photo of that cartoon character that reminds you of your deity on your altar.
Make that Minecraft temple to Hekate, domesticate those damn Minecraft wolves for Cerberus.
Make your deities in the sims!
Write soppy melodramatic poetry for Dionysus that no one else will read.
Make self insert fanfics about your favourite Gods and write them all as your best friends. Let them interact with your edgy ocs.
Create an AU where you and your Gods are all characters from your favourite anime.
Record silly little songs for them
Make them paintings that are full of clashing colors and weird forms.
Draw them a fursona
Wear that bright yellow outfit for Apollon.
Put on a dramatic makeup look for Aphrodite.
Call your closest deity that silly little nickname you have for them and let them call you one too.
Share your special interests with your Gods. Design your God as a pokémon or a crystal gem, or a sonic character.
Those losers that try to make you feel bad for being passionate will never have what you have.
In the words of the Great Lord Hermes: “Every human I have ever liked was at least a little bit cringe”
BE CRINGE. BE PROUD. THE GODS LOVE YOU.

accessible ways to celebrate Imbolc last minute 。𖦹°‧
enjoy a charcuterie board with cheeses and breads
put out a scarf the night before Imbolg to be blessed by Brigid’s healing powers
collect snow to make snow water
make a Brigid’s cross out of whatever you have available — paper, straw, grasses, wire, pipe cleaners, anything
light a candle and watch the flame dance
pray to Brigid, thank her for her blessings
bundle up & go on a walk—try to notice/find any speck of green or new buds growing
make tea with honey & milk, toast with butter
journal or reflect on growth or healing, what it means to you, ways you’d like to grow/heal, aspects in your life you’d like to grow/heal
take a bath and soak for a while—cleanse yourself of any negative energy that’s attached itself to you
clean your space on Imbolg or prior, if you can!
Tumblr media
(full Imbolg post here)。𖦹°‧𖦹ׂ ₊˚⊹⋆
**these are modernized adaptations of ways to celebrate inspired by the lore and language surrounding Imbolg/Imbolc, in an attempt to make observing the day accessible to the average person! :)

I just want to say that if you're anti women's rights, homophobic, transphobic, racist, anti gun laws, pro pedophilia, ableist, anti vaxx, ect this will never be a safe space for you.
I want this platform to be a soft and gentle place but the evils of this world weighs heavy on me often and I just want my stance to be known. I am fiercely for a kinder and more loving and safe future and that's not going to happen if we play nice with the people trying to drag it into darkness.

Friendly reminder that tonight is the new moon and we're heading into the lunar new year.
So if anybody's got any spellwork they want to do related to fresh beginnings, hope for the future, protection for the months ahead, or Casting Unwanted Shit Into The Ever-Hungry And All-Devouring Void From Whence Nothing Returns....tonight's a good night for it.
And if you think your voice or your spell is too small to make an impact, I'll remind you that many raindrops make a river, many sparks a conflagration. None of us walks alone.
Stay safe and Happy Witching!

Overcoming Spiritual Burnout
Spiritual burnout can be overwhelming, leaving even the most passionate practitioner feeling disconnected and uninspired. When I experience this, I take it as a sign to pause, reflect, and refresh. Here's the process I follow to regain balance and reignite my spiritual energy:
1. Pause Spellwork and Rituals
The first step is giving myself permission to stop. I step away from all spellwork and rituals, allowing myself space to breathe and reset without feeling pressured to perform.
2. Clean My Space
Cleaning becomes a grounding activity. I physically clean my living space, clearing away dust and stagnation. This act of tidying feels like the first step in restoring order to my inner world.
3. Release and Recharge
I release old energies by gathering all my magical tools, crystals, rocks, and ritual items to cleanse and recharge them.
4. Rearrange and Reorganize
Sometimes, all it takes to shift the energy is rearranging my space. I organize my altar, herbs, and tools, creating a layout that feels fresh and energizing.
5. Remove What No Longer Serves
I take a critical look at my magical and personal belongings, removing anything that no longer serves me. Whether it’s items, old intentions, or energies, I release them with gratitude.
6. Pouring Waters Back to Nature
All my moon water and spell waters are poured into flower pots or back to the earth. This symbolic gesture feels like giving back and starting anew.
7. Decluttering and Redecorating
Decluttering is a therapeutic ritual in itself. I remove unnecessary items and redecorate with intention, bringing beauty and functionality back into my space.
8. The “All Spells Jar”
I collect the remains (herbs, flowers, fruits, sticks) of all my spellwork and combine them into a single jar. I leave this jar outside during a waning moon for seven nights, allowing nature to dissolve the energy of past workings. I put my rocks and crystals back into their boxes after cleansing them.
9. Creating the “Super Salt”
Any leftover salts from protection or cleansing rituals are combined and cleansed into one bowl to create a “super salt.” This blend is a symbolic fresh start, and the containers are cleaned and prepared for new intentions.
10. Starting Over Slowly
Burnout isn’t a failure; it’s a reminder to pause and nurture yourself. These practices help me restore balance, release stagnant energies, and reapproach my craft with renewed clarity and purpose. Take this time as an opportunity to grow, adapt, and reconnect with your magic in a way that feels authentic and fulfilling.
When I feel ready to return to my practice, I begin slowly and mindfully. I focus on simple, grounding tasks—lighting a candle, journaling, or meditating. I rebuild my craft step by step, allowing myself to reconnect with the joy and magic of the practice.
