Months ago I went to a comic-con and of course there were plenty of Hellaverse cosplayers.

I was like "eh, sooner or later it will be out of trend anyway"

But there was one cosplay that made my eyebrow raise

A couple dressed as Val and Angel Dust.

The guy (or gal, I dunno) that was cosplaying as Angel Dust was wearing a BDSM collar while the Valentino cosplayer was holding the leash.

Not even the fans took that episode seriously

So, Viv & Co were at a convention where fans could ask questions - then enter an 11-yo who asks the most wholesome question (What is each characters favorite animal) and they turn it into a sex thing. In front of the kid. Stolas' annoying ass voice appears a few times to make it sexual for no reason. (Blitz loves something he can "ride" 🙄 [Horses], etc). They even say at the beginning that that is a "safe question," and then that ensues. I feel like they're doing it on purpose now. Esp after that the "Ermmm I hope we don't go viral for this again 🤪" thing.

Weird situation.

Okay so am I the only one who thinks it's weird that most of the thumbnails for Tamotasauce's dubs are the characters being cross-eyed?

I know he might not be able to do a lot with thumbnails and he probably thinks it's funny or whatever but come on.

As someone who had a lazy eye for a majority of my life, I can say with 100% confidence that it's not funny. Even in the slightest

Am I just overthinking it or does a lot of hazbin hotel / helluva fanmerch have a strong preference for the male characters? Like absolutely not trying to shit on fan creators, they're my sole source of hellaverse merch since vivziepop doesn't get my money and supporting smaller creators is incredibly important, but I've seen fanmerch sets where they include Lucifer and husk and angel and even Valentino but not charlie, nifty, etc. is this true or am I just projecting my worries from the small amount I've seen? Again most fan creators are fine, I just noticed it and was wondering if I was the only one.

Something interesting I noticed about hazbin fans and their insistence upon the idea that the shows are going to get good soon and all the lore will be answered in future seasons. It reminds me of how people will say "just wait til season 3 of Naruto, that's when it gets good." Or "you just need to get past *insert arc here* and then *insert show here* starts getting really good!"

The difference is that when people say that, they're usually talking about shows that have already ended or have been running for several seasons past the "it gets good" point.

Vivs fans have this blind faith that the disjointed and poorly written elements of their show will eventually be justified, without even being able to say why they think it will or why they have that faith in Viv and her team.

It's almost a religious faith in Vivs abilities and it's kind of concerning honestly

🫢 I lowkey feel called out. In Hazbin Hotel’s defense, right now there is only the first season available and not all the questions will be answered immediately. However, I feel like the insistence that show will be good, that all lore will be answered, and that we should wait for the characters chance to shine is more of a Helluva Boss issue than Hazbin Hotel.

“Guys, even though Helluva Boss is halfway through the finishing line you must wait till season 3 for Loona and Millie character development!!” 😫 But yeah, the fans especially the hardcore stans have a lot of faith towards Vivziepop. It’s impressive yet sad how patient they are.

That youtooz description for Angel Dust is absolutely vile. Literally poking fun at his abusive situation & I saw that a lot of comments saying "WeLL ThAts tHe PloT".

Yeah the plot was sexual abuse & here's a "quirky" box description reiterating Angel's very soul is owned by Valentino his abuser, has no agency or choice to "say no matter how many", how many what. How many times he's assaulted at work, how many times he wants to say no to sex scenes & just let's whatever happen to him, how many times Valentino sexually abuses him.

Also for the love of all above, its a really glaring issue how many MINORS in this fandom stan Valentino & find Angel Dust & extent his "relationship" with Valentino, again is a relationship of physical abuse, mental abuse & sexual abuse... alluring, fetishising it & all focus is on the abuser, Valentino.

Like these tweets speak for themselves. They have a level of sympathy for Angel Dust, but its in a fetishistic way. "Oh no poor Angie how crule, but also Valentino...yippee". All focus is really on Valentino or brought back to him.

I don't blame this user in all extent. Yes what they're doing is vile but what does one expect when Angel Dust's trauma was storyboarded by Raphielle who has a rape ship between Angel and Valentino, a rape fetish aswell (irl its cnc in their work its not & that fetish got showcased on a show supposedly showing the trauma of a victim of sexual abuse). Vivienne is buddy-budy with him, gave her blessing for him specifically to storyboard Angel's abuse in the music sequence.

It was showcased as a fetish & people are starting to fetish it, that was the whole point.

And its continuing like in this youtooz figure. I'm sickened, I hate it here.

I’m sorry but every time when I see these acrylic plates stands I just lose it my shit because one alastor is hitting that same damn post for the millionth time and two it just screams lazy and trying to make a quick buck from the fans I mean they could of hire an artist to draw new poses for the stands instead reusing the same old art work 🤣😭

Hell the fandom can make better acrylic plates stands merchandise
