Nothing to add, just remember reading it and adoring the discourse on decadence. On of the best written pieces of the time.

It seems that the desire to end beautiful things while they are yet beautiful is a general feeling…several years ago a niece to whom I was extremely close committed suicide in her 21st year, I too felt somehow thankful that she had died while still beautiful. So hard sometimes, but surprisingly with age you don’t judge more, but do it less. Just because you learn to care more about your own perception and understand every other one might be just as well.

I think it’s inherently wrong to reflect upon the way others think and act, instead of thinking and acting on one’s own...

You guys… Honestly, my Mdzs shelf is getting bigger by day, who would’ve thought😗 (and I should’ve thought being an insufferable maniac for fandom merch)

Anywho. Creepily waiting for some goods to come. The first three novels (I’m from Russia, but do prefer the English variant, so yep). Originally was reading them on my phone, and only managed to get my hands on the 5th one, now we’re *improving* heheh.

Besides, waiting for 2 figures from the cups series (do have Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan with musical instruments in those cups — btw that A-Xian is gorgeous as hell…. Magnificent, and also sitting in an Emperor’s Smile… like wow, you killed me there). The ones in transit are also them but with bunnies (do not know yet, might gift Lan Zhan one to my bestie, ‘cause she’s in love with him).

As well, creepishly scared waiting for A-Xian’ s nendoroid… Hope I did order him from an authorized seller, but still sweating a bit due to long transit.
