lost 25lbs and was kinda-sorta recovering. was making myself a quesadilla this morning for breakfast and my little sister goes “you’re really having a quesadilla for breakfast?” no bitch not anymore!!1!! i’m having a cigarette and getting back to my honeymoon period!!!!1!!1!!1!

my wl tips (as someone who has lost 25lbs [11kg] in about a month)
keep in mind, i am currently 220lbs (100kg) and 6’ (182cm) tall. my strategies will not work for everyone, but they work very well for me.
—i drink 3-5 liters of water every day
—i never drink sugary sodas or beverages (partly &ñă, partly because i’m diabetic)
—i get 10k steps every day that i don’t have dance, 5k on the days that i do
—1/2 of every meal is veggies, 1/4 is protein, and the rest is for carbs and fiber and such
—i get at least 6 hours of sleep
—i watch &ńǎ documentaries whenever im eating alone
—if i have a really intense craving, i eat it. 1 serving, no more.
—if a snack is more than 200cal, i don’t eat it
—i drink 1/2 a liter of water with every meal
—i read and watch lots of tv whenever im home and am avoiding food
—i have “dance parties” with my cat where i turn on music and jump around and dance just to burn some cals
—i don’t eat after my family goes to bed, because it makes me guilty and guilt = binge for me
—all snacks after dinner have to be vegetables or fruit
—i fast for at least 8-12 hours every day
—i put on my waist trainer whenever i have to go out to dinner because it keeps me from eating too much
—i offer my food to people; lunch at school, i offer it to my friends. dinner at home, i offer it to my sister or dad.
—my BMR is 1318, maintenance is 2,700. i eat at most 1500 cals each day, and after exercise, my net is about 700-1000cal
—i do all cardio, no weight lifting because i have lots of muscle i want to lose
—i take cold baths and showers; it doesn’t have to be freezing, just lower than your own body temperature so you burn cals keeping your body warm
—i calculate my BMR and BMI whenever i gain or lose ANYTHING (the formula for BMR is 447.593 + [9.247 • weight in kg] + [3.098 • height in cm] - [4.330 • age in years].
—i do LOTS of research about how the body burns calories
—i keep a log of my weight, cals consumed, cals burned, and net cals every day so i can see the trends between cals and weight
please stay safe!! again, this is what works for ME — a 220lbs (100kg), 6’ (182cm) tall woman — but maybe not for you. the most important advice i have is take everything slow and figure out what works for you and your body.

i ate a lot of c&l0r13 dense food today cause i had a lot of exercise — walking to class for 30 min (138cal), going up and down the stairs for a bit (44cal), construction work for half an hour (165cal), dance for an hour (597cal), then i took a really cold bath for 15 minutes and that allegedly burns 195cal.
so in total, i consumed 1586cal. i burned 1139cal.
net cal: 447cal

i weighed in at 229lbs today when yesterday i was 228, so im on a pretty relaxed liquid “fast” (im also allowing myself watery vegetables). 529cals consumed cause i had a meal replacement protein shake since i have dance and rehearsal after school and some carrots with balsamic vinegar. burned 111 cals so far just from walking to my classes, so im at 418 net. im feeling good, because at rehearsal i should burn like 200 cal and at dance ill probably burn like 300. im hoping to end the day in the negatives net-wise.
