They say “you need serious help” “you need to be in a hospital” but what they don’t realize is hospitals don’t do anything to help us. They just prevent us from killing ourselves while they can hold us. But then we get discharged and come out exactly the same as we went in.

I can’t be the only one with past and ongoing trauma that can’t trust anyone, has trouble letting go of things, overthinks and over reacts, thinks everyone is here to hurt me, wants to die but could never go through with it for fear that if it doesn’t work, I’ll have to explain.
