URGENT HELP NEEDED – WE'VE BEEN ATTACKED
Dear friends and well-wishers,
We have suffered a devastating attack by thieves who stole all our belongings. We are currently left with nothing and are in urgent need of support.
Right now, we are specifically requesting help with:
Basic utensils for cooking and eating
Food supplies to sustain us during this difficult time
Safe drinking water
If you are able to assist in any way—through donations, supplies, or sharing this message—we would be deeply grateful. Every bit of support makes a difference.
Please reach out if you can help or would like more information on how to contribute. Thank you so much for standing with us.
With hope,
David

Happy Pride 2025! 🌈
This month, we celebrate love, resilience, and the fight for freedom—but for many LGBTQ+ individuals in places like South Sudan, Pride isn’t just a celebration—it’s a lifeline.
Calling all LGBTQ+ members & allies in Canada or anyone with connections there!
If youre in Canada or know someone who can help, please inbox me. We’re working to create safe pathways for LGBTQ+ refugees fleeing persecution in South Sudan, and your support could save lives.
The situation is urgent. Many face violence, imprisonment, or worse just for being who they are. Together, we can offer hope, resources, and a chance at safety.
Let’s turn Pride into action.Share this post, reach out if you can assist, and help us protect those who need it most.
✊ No one is free until we all are.

Being LGBTQ+ in a Refugee Camp: A Daily Struggle for Safety and Dignity
Life in a refugee camp is already a challenge—but for those of us who are LGBTQ+, the struggle is even harder. We face not only the hardships of displacement, but also discrimination, isolation, and fear within the very places meant to offer safety.
In Gorom Refugee Camp, many of us live in silence, hiding our identities to avoid harassment, rejection, or worse. There is little to no access to mental health support, protection services, or safe spaces where we can be ourselves without fear. Some of us have been rejected by our own communities, making our isolation even deeper.
We are asking for understanding, support, and solidarity. LGBTQ+ refugees deserve safety, dignity, and the chance to live without fear. We need access to protection services, inclusive aid, and voices who can speak out with and for us.
Please don’t forget us. Share our story. Stand with us.

The Rainbow Flag: A Symbol of Love, Pride & Resistance 🏳️‍🌈
Each color of the rainbow flag holds meaning:
❤️ Red – Life
🧡 Orange – Healing
💛 Yellow – Sunlight
💚 Green – Nature
💙 Blue – Harmony
💜 Purple – Spirit
This flag isn’t just a symbol—it’s a statement. A declaration that we exist, we resist, and we belong.
Today, we raise this flag in solidarity with LGBTQ+ refugees around the world. Many have been forced to flee their homes because of who they are or who they love. Their courage, strength, and hope remind us why this fight matters.
To all LGBTQ+ refugees:
🏳️‍🌈 You are seen.
🏳️‍🌈 You are valid.
🏳️‍🌈 You are not alone.
Let the rainbow be a reminder:
There’s no pride in silence. We speak up. We stand together. We fight for freedom, dignity, and safety for all.
