Hahaha yup! It’s the graduate library at uw! Inside is not as the show depicted, there are spiral stair cases but fewer and more grand; one of the many tours I have passed described them as Harry Potter stairs. Lots of tours run through there and the reading room! A great place to wander when bored with a coffee! Which is how I found out that they have AT LEAST three copies of Ironman 2 for students to check out…

I mean I am an Ironman 2 fan but I think shelf space could be better filled lol

I wanted to let you know I am among the living. Studying for the CPA Exam, working, and just a couple of bad weeks has reduced my available photoshop time, but my study materials have not been so lucky...

Yeah there is definitely some ambiguity here… my current head cannon is he can become human but would have purple eyes rather than blue or red… ghost form still having the red… I feel like it would be more representative of him getting another chance and a clear mid ground between the two. I do love the idea of a shitty human disguise too…

For Maddie or the adept Wes Westons I feel like Dan definitely needs to distinguish himself in some way… otherwise I think it would make it even more obvious that something is SUS

I also since I feel like the red eyes are associated with the full ghost/ evil ghost with the rare human exception (Freakshow being the only case of this I can think of on the fly, probably from ghostly items he uses). And the Phan consensus has fallen on more of a chaotic neutral for grown ass man in a teenager’s body Dan. Committing crimes and occasionally doing some good with his adoptive dad/half self, rather than “a will he or won’t he” be a baddie for Danny in the future, seems like where his development will take him. I feel like it would be a cool way to reflect this change to have a new eye color.

I am still pretty excited about all the potential for what I am assuming will be a chaotic angsty anti-hero with some really fucking heavy and messy emotional baggage.

On a related, but not fully relevant note… Lol in looking for a DP gif to supplement this wall of rant, I realized that similarly to MCU Tony Stark Danny is grabbed by the neck… a lot… mostly by Vlad… lol I wonder with this in mind, after a glitch in time, What is Dan’s internal monologue like… but alas this is probably a late night rant better suited for another day

one thing i've noted is that people are drawing post!A Glitch in Time Dan as a red eyed Danny Fenton, but like.... are we sure he can even change into his human form??

like. as soon as he possessed the clone it changed to Phantom form. is it... even possible for him to change back?

or, i guess a better question would be, would he want to?

tbh i think it could be fun if, possibly for his health, he does need to change back, but there's just. some kind of mental block preventing him from doing so. i think that could be a fun kind of plotline.

(especially since in the meantime he'd be stuck as a ghost. if he went out anywhere he'd need to have some kind of shitty disguise on over top of it)

what is just. completely fucking hilarious to me about the graphic novel is that:

A) a glitch in time acknowledged that dan is equal parts phantom and plasmius, and yet still shoved him into a body that is only one of them. AND…

B) said body is a clone of a 14 year old. when dan is literally like. 24 and/or 50something depending on whose age you’re counting.

not only does dan have to go through the mortifying ordeal of redemption but he has to do it WHILE GOING THROUGH PUBERTY AGAIN? presumably with a father figure he’s expected to answer to? literally worse hell than the thermos
