I opted for a more masculine design so her and Lucien would be more identical. Also going for less flashy attire and armor, Alyce prefers to blend in with common folk.

rhysand who left utm to find immediate solace and comfort in the arms of his waiting family, holding him while he cried out, offering him gentle touches and kind words, piecing him back together where he wasn’t able to. eris who left utm to find a thick layer of dust coating everything in his empty room, forced immediately back into a life that strangles him, shackled and without the opportunity for rest, alone as he has always been, alone as he will ever be.

Just your friendly reminder that when Azriel threatened to rip a tree out of the ground and fly with it on his back to the northern flank—despite his damaged wings—not only was Eris there, but we know he got badly hurt as well, seeing as he showed up to the Graysen estate with an ugly gash in his neck from said battle. You know of what I speak😏

Am I delusional? Yes. Have I yapped about this before? Also yes. But isn’t it wonderful how all these breadcrumbs are canonically there, even if they’re just the result of SJM eating a focaccia or something while writing?🤣

I sometimes wake up and remember these things, and they make me giddy like it’s Christmas. What’s your favourite Azris breadcrumb?

Been thinking about Beron and what his past might have been and now I wanna write a fic about he was the youngest gay son in line for the throne who did not give a shit about running the court until he accidentally kills his family and looses his lover as his power (both magical and political) corrupts him.

my little think piece hot take is when people mention how feminine characters are overlooked and whatnot, they often fail to mention WOC (since most of the time there is a WOC who is equally if not more feminine in the series) which just proves their point but also highlights how this conversation is quite performative.

For acotar people mention Elain, and although there is for sure some misogyny, it makes no sense for her to be the poster child of this when we have Emerie with the same hobbies (plus shes an avid romance reader and fights with and for women, which is the most feminine thing to do) yet she is often masculinized to the tens or overlooked. I could take it a step further and say since she's not a light skinned WOC it's even worse.

guys the next book isn't about Azriel, it's about Nesta realizing Cassian sucks and leaving him for Eris. There's a B plot of Eris and Nesta setting Lucien and Elain up on dates and getting them to talk to one another. Oh and Daddy Beron dies so we finally get to see how a high lord transformation goes down (like is it big a flashy, is Eris gonna sneeze and be like "oh shit more magic", is he gonna go into his beast form and then have to come down from high magical high - I NEED ANSWERS PEOPLE)

A Court of Dusk and Ash

Finally got around to writing part 1 of my oc fan fic "A Court of Dusk and Ash". This is going to be a slow burn Tamlin ship story, and be warned the first 2-3 parts are going to be a prologue that purely focuses on Alyce and Lucien.

I want to get the prologue done this week so I can gobble up that slow burn romance heehehe

So I want thinking about how Rhys suicide-baited Tamlin in ACOFAS, and a friend of mine made an interesting comparison:

Sometimes people who become obsessed with other people (mostly celebrities) will feel that killing them is the only way to remove said obsession.

But Rhys can’t do that because it would cause an uproar and another conflict amongst the courts. But if he convinces Tamlin to do it himself…

All this is to say Rhysand has everything he could ever want (a mate, a son, a court of sycophants to worship him) and yet I believe he doesn’t have what he truly, truly wants.
