James view on how Sirius and Remus got together in this Universe. Promt: After a full summer of not hearing anything from Sirius, the other three Marauders decide to break him free from 12 Grimmauld Place. Word Count: 2.6k Tags: Aftermath of Violence, Implied/Referenced Child Abuse, Friendship Extract: James hadn’t received a single letter from Sirius all summer, nor had Remus or Peter and they were now halfway into August. When the other three Marauders had left Sirius with his mother and brother on the Platform 9 ¾ in June they had been hopeful that this summer would be better than the last one. Surely, they hadn’t played quite as many pranks during their fourth year, compared to third year. Surely, Sirius hadn’t received quite as many Howlers as last year, and he had somehow continued to receive top grades, even in, as Sirius himself said “the more boring subjects”. The light of the near-full moon spills over the front lawn, dyeing the grass silver and sparkling in the Great Lake. Sirius closes his eyes and thinks that in just a couple of days they’ll be running through the grounds, wind in their fur and not a care in the world. He finishes his water and turns back to his bed, only to see that the curtains around Remus’ bed are cracked open and Remus is quite awake, gazing at him through the gap. “You okay?” LINK

Anyone can leave up to ten prompts, even if they do not intend to submit a work for the fest.

Prompting will be collected on airtable. This list updates automatically and sorts alphabetically by pairing. Prompts can be viewed during the prompting process, but will not have prompt numbers until after prompting closes.

Anonymous prompts are permitted.

Similar prompts may be deleted/combined by mods.

Prompts in violation of our rules, such as a scenario set alongside canon events when the character(s) would be under 18, will be removed. Please see link at the top of the post for our rules in full.

Prompt numbers are currently hidden. This is due to the fact that we are alphabetising the list by pairing to make it easier for claimants to find prompts they are interested in. Prompting numbers will be assigned after prompting closes but before claiming opens. There will be a post when this happens.

Title: Chocolate Bars on the Windowsills By: mean_whale Rating: E Prompt: B12 Summary: Just over a year after his disappearance, Remus unexpectedly returns to James's life. It’s that time of year, again! 

HP Daddy Fest 2021 is a prompt-based, anonymous, all-rating, all-pairing, all-dynamic, daddy/mummy/little-themed fest for authors and artists creating in the HP universe. This year, prompting will take place from 1st to the 14th Feb, with claiming opening on the 15th. Submissions will be due on the 1st of June, with posting taking place on a yet-to-be-confirmed date in July.

The fest went so well last year, that we haven’t really changed anything but you can refamiliarise yourself with the rules by following the link below.

Prompting Open! ✨

We’re happy to announce that prompting for the fest is now open. Please use this Google form to submit one to eight prompts; fix it’s, AU’s, romance - whatever it is you’d love to read/see! You can leave prompts for fic, art, gifsets, and videos, although you don’t have to specify if you don’t want to.

You’re in no way obligated to participate in the fest when you leave a prompt - everybody can prompt!

You’re welcome to self-prompt, but if you submit a prompt to the list, we can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to claim it later, as claiming will be on a first come/first serve basis. (If you already have something you know you want to write, you can simply tell us your prompt when you sign up!)

Prompting will be open until the 29th of January, and the finished prompt-list will be published shortly after. Claiming starts on the 31st of January.
