This is a direct animation (or drawn-on-film animation) I created for an animation class in 2017. It's one of two cameraless film projects I worked on in 2017-2018, the other one titled "flower / moon / bones". Both these projects were created using clear 16mm film & 0.4 mm Staedtler Lumocolor permanent markers. The soundtrack came from a collection of recordings created by my partner Sam Scaffido between 2010-2013 using an unplugged electric guitar - he labeled this particular song as simply "Pg_TBD_4".

A lot of people I know back home are struggling through this pandemic so I made a small mutual financial aid fund that prioritizes BIPOC and those in the LGBTQIA community in Syracuse NY. While there are a lot of great community orgs in Syracuse, I wanted to try to make a fundraiser that gets money directly into the pockets of those who need it. please reblog or donate if you can! thanks <3
