I know "60s housewives who invented slash fanfiction" has taken on a life of its own as a phrase, but Kirk/Spock didn't really exist until the 70s and THOSE WOMEN HAD JOBS. They were teachers and librarians and bookkeepers and scientists and they damn well spent their own money going to conventions, printing zines, buying fanart and making fandom happen. Jalisco is the birthplace of Mariachis, and their music has been around since the 17th century… y’all don’t get to come over and get rid of it 😭

If you’re a tourist in Mexico (and ANY other place) for god’s sake remember that you’re a TOURIST. You’re VISITING. You don’t get to come here and try to shut down restaurants and bandas because they annoyed you on your two week trip with the family.

If you’re coming to the culture you’ll find the culture, in case that isn’t obvious. If you’re really that annoyed by it, go to Cancún and Cabo San Lucas, as the video said. Or just stay home.

Looking forward to episode 14 being 25 minutes alternating scooby-doo style sequences between Hunter, Crosshair, Wrecker, and Rampart panicking and screaming being chased and shot down, and then stalked by the critters in the Tantiss jungle

Omega, Sami, Jax, Eva, and Bayrn stumbling their way innocently past ray shields via the droid tubes into all the other super secret secure parts of the base and every 30 seconds: "I wonder what this button does"

vs

Echo systematically working his way through layers of security like a badass, following the sounds of panicked screams and Zillo beast roars to Omega (who else?), and rallying his newfound squad of 4 children (sounds familiar) to help him release the prisoners and decommission Tantiss base with Bayrn strapped to his back.
