Lady Blackbird
After going to KantCon this weekend, I was introduced to an indie system called Lady Blackbird. I have to say, it's quite easy to play, but it's still a lot of fun. It works on creativity on the players parts, and the GM as the tiny guiding hand making sure there still is a plot in there somewhere. I can see how it can be difficult to play if your players aren't the kind to get the ball rolling, but usually people get the feel of how it goes pretty quickly. As a new GM, I can see this being easy to run, since you play pretty much a referee and tell the players when they're really stretching the limits.
Anyways, you should go check it out and then tell me your thoughts?

Most comfortable amount of players
As a GM and a Player, how many PCs is just the right amount? For me, Mutants and Masterminds is okay to have 4-7 PCs because combat is fast. However, I don't like that the RP goes on the side-burner. Pathfinder and D&D seem to get messy when there are more than 4-5 players. Savage Worlds: I don't have a clue, but I've played with 4 people and it seemed just right. For Shadowrun I honestly have to say I don't like it when there's more than 3 PCs. The group feels tighter together, the combat can be hella long so less players is better, and the RP can go on forever(which is good :)). So, what about you all? Preferences?

Got the Chibi version of my group's Shadowrun characters sketched. Maybe I should do a comic with them....hmmm... Anyways, may post them when I get them inked and colored. Yay!

It's really sad that Gargoyles are all CE and stuff in Pathfinder. I grew up watching the cartoon Gargoyles, and I think of them as the defenders of the innocent and what-not... :(

It's funny when...
the weapons specialist one-shot K.O's an enemy with a backhand, but can't do so with a gun. It's kind of scary.

Costume Heroes
Gotta love 'em. I think it has become my past time to design costumes and stuff. Thinking of the archetypes that Mutants and Masterminds gives me makes it easier.

Theme Songs
I didn't think about it until I heard this one song, but it definitely made me think of my Shadowrun character. Have you ever thought about a theme-song for your character, be it just for fun or not?
