I’m tired
I’m tired of looking in the mirror and not recognizing the person staring back at me
I’m tired of hearing people call me “she” as that word echoes around me and it feels like I’m no longer there
I’m tired of people thinking they know me better than I know myself and invalidating me
I’m tired of looking at my brother and hating him because he was born in the body right for him
I’m tired of feeling so suffocated in my own skin, because I know it doesn’t belong to me
I’m tired of being in a body that does not belong to me, this isn’t me
