In January 1919, the Anti-Mask League of San Francisco staged a public meeting during the pandemic, the first image here is a flier to the anti-mask meeting. The second image is a flier from Portland, Oregon urging the public to willingly co-operate in wearing masks & not necessitate the passage of an ordinance which would make the wearing of a mask compulsory during the pandemic in 1918-1919.
