Meet Ruby and her 3 boyfriend Familiars: Mr Dirt, The Prince of Knives and Mouf. A gaggle of inseparable misfits living on the fringes, entangled both romantically, and in a shared interest in aiding their fellow figments.

Ruby is a sample character in FF. You can use her as the base for an NPC in one of your own games. This first FF book also includes her boyfriends as catchable, trainable familiars- don’t dwell on the implications of that too long lol. I can’t seem to be able to work in a genre without fully perverting and turning it into trash.

over on patreon Amy Crook wanted gryffyn pin-ups which was combined with calls for eldritch beings, shapeshifters, and teeth from Tama and Camille Alexander. i was told any Bird/animal specifically so i went with one classic girl and 2 other perfectly normal ladies.

they’re all chicken gryffyns because i do what i want.

First up is a little farm hen. She’s chicken/barn cat and she’s a little beat up from years of venturing out into the woods and dealing with her flock’s volatile pecking order. Small and round, but hardy. Has been sent out to deal with various strange dangers ever since all the roosters disappeared a while back. Has maybe gotten too close to the things in the woods but no one questions her because she’s a little too strong to bully now.

Next is a chicken/fox gryffyn who’s a little overdressed for the middle of the woods but she does run a casino so one must keep up appearances. Loves a nice fur stole or feather boa. Has no idea what happened to all the roosters but it was probably something sudden and mundane. Some people just have…and unlucky moment.

Last is a chicken/unidentified dinosaur gryffyn who is an undying and ever evolving daughter of an old god. She was one of the eggs in the whole ‘chicken or the egg’ thing and it’s probably fine that she’s just. Around.

It’s the last few hours of the crowdfunding for my Tabletop RPG Fatal Familiar! This is a role playing game you play like D&D, but with mechanics that allow you to catch or befriend the monsters. (Don’t worry, it’ll be available again, but missing an IndieGoGo exclusive comic, and not for a few months)

if you’ve ever loved my work, please consider tossing the game a fiver. Even if you’re not a tabletop RPG person, you can look at it like a digital art book, as it will be thoroughly, lusciously illustrated. It also will feature creature concepts and designs by some cool artists, comedians, internet sexy people and other peeps in the game dev realm that you may already love. (Though a vast majority of them are designed by yours truly) gmcfosho has a Familiar in the game!

Anyway it feels SO tacky coming here just to sling my wares so I’m doing so with maximum apologies and an earnest promise that I won’t just disappear again. I dipped away from Tumblr when they were excising every beloved accountant in my circle. As the internet becomes increasingly more hostile to the marginalized, I’m finding it harder to stay away from specific sites- they’re all bad now- if any of my audience is still here, I need you to know I still love you and will do my damn’dest not to fly away again.
