I got inspired by all those "Let's get hunted by mama!" posts and went a little too far lol He wasn't supposed to look so terrified, but oh well!

Tested my old regular tablet again after switching to a display one less than a year ago. Forgot how to use it, apparently 9 years of muscle memory dies fast.

The drawing turned out okay, but my hand hurts. Back to the display tablet!

I'm doing free OC Art Requests!!

Hi all! As the title says, I will be doing OC art requests. I will open 4 slots for One-Charater illustrations.

Examples from previous art requests (these are from my former art blog which I deleted for no good reason)

These are the rules:

You must message me a picture of your OC. I won't do OCs based on description only. Any drawing, even stick figures, will do. I would also appreciate it if you sent a pose or an expression you'd like :) (You wouldn't want me to draw your beloved OC with an OOC expression lol)

Before sending: I won't do NSFW or gore (I will do light gore at most). If you are unsure, feel free to ask. While it isn't my specialty, I have done furry and anthro OCs and do accept them. I can't guarantee all the drawings will have the same quality or style, I'm experimenting with my art. Consider it a surprise!

All slots get a full-body illustration: However, I won't draw a background. I also won't make major (change of pose, outfit, complex hairstyle) revisions, such revisions are for commissions only. I will send you the final sketch, and after you approve it (checking for mistakes or anything I might have missed), I will finish it and post it. If you don't answer within 3 days, I will finish the drawing as is and post it as well.

By sending your request, you agree to the following: I can use the resulting artwork to promote myself and as a portfolio piece, crediting you as the OC's creator each time. You are not allowed to use the illustration for commercial purposes, only for personal use. You must credit me if you repost the illustration. I shouldn't have to mention it, but you're not allowed to train AI or create NFTs with my art.

And that's it! I will update this post as the slots get taken. I'll work on these as I deal with other projects, so apologies in advance if it takes too long. If you have any questions, lmk :)

Different flavors of Phantom! What's a style anyway?

I asked around for people's favorite non-human Phantom features and this is the result. I only covered like half of them, but it's 3am so I should probably sleep.

Bottom left has some stuff that wasn't in the list but I got inspired: I read about galaxy freckles and thought "what if galaxy hair??", then white eyelashes and eyebrows. Also, I took the wings from Owari no Seraph! (where are my depressed ons veterans??)

Acrylic paint is sentient, and its drying time depends entirely on how quickly you want it to dry. Are you hurrying to do some shading/rendering before it dries? Too bad, it's already dry. Do you need it to dry quick to add several layers of paint? Oops, it suddenly became oil paint. You can't win.
