Seeing my self insets from before I transitioned is a really weird situation and as much as I want to trans their gender I also kinda like to draw a self insert that’s way more accurate to my appearance and less ED inspired.

You know I didn’t mean to Willem DaFoe an old Black Butler oc that has been completely abandoned but sometimes we don’t get to choose which old man your brain chooses for you to draw.

Okay so as we move past the first page of my sketchbook redraw we’re losing a lot of color, which is kinda fun for me since it lets me decide what color schemes to go with.

My favorite part of drawing Pokémon is trying to find ways to connect them back to their original inspiration. Clodsire is a spiney fish, mimikyu’s a patchwork costume, bulbasaurs a dinosaur, and toxtricity is a salamander. Such mean cute little salamander dots.

I know the black butler fandom is crawling it’s way out of hell for season 4 but I’m standing here having never left it. Ciel Phantomhive is my comfort character and I think they should let him say bitch.

I genuinely believe that bulbasaur is the best starter ever. But I’m impartial to all grass types. This is the bulbasaur design for my trainersona. His name is Bulby because if you were 11 and given a magical dinosaur plant you’d probably name it something stupid too.

Prinplup was my first redraw I did from this sketchbook and I had decided what medium to use yet so so far they are the only one done in marker. The rest have all been colored pencil, which I plan on using for the rest of this sketchbook.
