Novels aren’t just happy escapes; they are slivers of people’s souls, nailed to the pages, dripping ink from veins of wood pulp. Reading the right one at the right time can make all the difference.

The tropes that appear frequently in my stories✨
one's very specific urge to put a character with heterochromia eyes in every story they write or any one of these list: - person with repressed rage - person with red hair - mental figure [usually a 30 year old] who is either a senior or a brother of a character - excessive contrast between character with one big happy family VS character without/with family that's abusive - ✨DADDY ISSUES✨ - quiet character that's used as a way of appreciating other quiet characters [and currently has been a way of mocking netflix's adaptation of persuasion] - Himbos. lots of himbos - a character learns to love and be loved - a character slowly heals from their traumatic past - LESBIANS WHO GARDEN

Writing Prompt #2021
He'd never been more proud, or more in love with someone. He couldn't remember the last time someone made him smile like that, or laugh in earnest. He didn't think he'd ever met someone who made him feel like he belonged somewhere, either, or had someone he was excited to come home to.

Friend/relative: Oh, you write? That's so cool! What do you write about?
Me: Actually, I usually just zone out for an hour and then call it a day
Me: Sometimes I write down the occasional adjective or verb
