Hello everyone! I hope y'all had a Merry Christmas.馃巹
I weighed in on Sun because I forgot to on Sat! I hit my 1st 50 lbs lost!!馃く I have 3. 50lbs to lose. I only gained .8 lbs over Christmas! Yippie! Better than Thanksgiving week were I gained 8.8 lbs!
I noticed A LOT of sagging skin on my triceps!!馃樋 I have a medium resistance band that I need to learn to use. I saved some excersise videos on YouTube that uses the resistance band for triceps. That will be my New Years goal is to tone up.
I changed the fitted sheet on my husband's bed and it was the 1st time I wasn't out of breath doing it!!馃榾
I seem to have more stamina lately. My energy level is about the same...no major difference.

Hello everyone! Well it took me 2 weeks but I FINALLY lost the Thanksgiving weight! YEAH!! Last week I lost 4 lbs and down to 49.2 lbs lost since 7/12/20 my starting weight!
I try to get on the scale every Wed, I lost 1.2 lbs since Sat. I DID IT! I HAVE LIST 50.2 LBS!!
I had my weightloss dr appointment last Fri. I lost 7lbs for the month. She was pleased! She was happy because I lost weight during Thanksgiving!
I'm still trying to work in 100oz of water a day. I can usually get 85 oz...which is 5 16.9 bottles of water..a day.
I also have a hard ti.e getting all my calories in! I'm supposed to be wating 1820 calories a day but I'm eating between 900-1300 calories a day!
I need to start NOW toning up. My triceps are awful!馃樋 I have a medium..red..resistance band with handles. I found a couple of workout videos on YouTube that look good. Going to try and get up early and workout in the mornings.
Trying to really watch what I eat during the Christmas/New Years holidays. I'm making another turkey breast...Green Bean Casserole for David...I'll have salad..mashed potatoes...Hawaiian rolls...holiday Jello salad...Butter Pecan Ice Cream Bread. I'm making Sausage Balls and heating up little smokies...turkey...to snack on for New Year's Eve. I'm making canned black eyed peas with snapps.. rice...salad...cornbread for New Year's.
I've gotten in the habit of measuring EVERYTHING!! We have a running joke if I grab a snack David will ask.."Did you calc that in?" Lol
I know I promised a picture when I get down to 240 lbs. It's not much longer!! Just 10 more lbs to lose! I'm at 250.2 as of today!

Hello everyone! I hope y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I cooked for just my husband and myself. I made skinny Green Bean Casserole...stuffing...skinny Cranberry Fluff...turkey breast...rolls. We also had 5 people bring us food!
Sadly, on my weigh in today...I GAINED 8.8 LBS!! 馃槶 I am sure it is water retention from all the sodium I had this week.
I'm gonna watch closer my fat/sugar/sodium intakes this week. Plus, I am going to get my 6 bottles...16.9 oz...of water on each day!
My sciatic nerve is starting to heal. I am able to stand now and walk better. I took breaks from cooking on Thanksgiving.
I decorated our 4 ft Christmas Tree yesterday...lol...that's the extent of my holiday decorating.
HOPEFULLY, I will have a better report next week!!馃

Well I had my monthly checkup with my weightloss dr I am depressed because I only lost 3 lbs over a month!!馃槶
We chalked it up to too much sodium!! I also had a couple of episodes of constipation.
Gonna strive real hard to getting in my 100 oz of water each day.
She wants me to get more exercising in. Because of school I just don't have the time!
Also, I gained 3 lbs last week!! I'm SURE it's water retention because I had a severe cheat day Fri and weighed in yesterday.
Gonna do a 3 day detox so I can hopefully get rid of the water retention.
As my dr said, I should be happy because I'm going into the holidays 40lbs lighter!! Any weightloss during Covid is a blessing!!
David and I aren't going anywhere for Thanksgiving. I'm making a turkey breast in the crokpot... stuffing...light Green Bean Casserole...light Cranberry Fluff...rolls but splurging on Pumpkin Pie with light Cool Whip..a small piece. Yes, I will measure EVERYTHING!
We are having another turkey breast for Chrustmas dinner...not sure what else.
This is the first time in over 10 yrs that we will be home for Christmas and not at my brother's house. I will try and make it memorable.

Well I had a good week last week...I lost 4.2 lbs!! Woo Hoo!! I think it really was because I was drinking 85oz of water each day. I have lost 4+ lbs twice thus month! A month starts on the 12th!
I'm at 256.4 now....I'll take another picture when I get to 240 lbs...my next goal. I set goals at every 30 lbs.
Just think...this time next yr I'll be at my goal weight of between 150-160lbs! What a glorious day that will be...I'M NOT GOING BACK!!

Time for an update! I am down to 259!! I have 100lbs left to lose. I know it sounds so far away.
I am trying hard to drink 100oz of water a day...which is 6 16.9oz bottles. I have only been able to get 5 bottles which is 85oz.
My weight loss dr says I should average 9-10lbs lost each month. I don't know if I will hit it this month. I've been only losing .2-1lbs. 1 week I gained .4 lbs.
My family dr wants me to work up to 10K steps. This is next to impossible because I'm taking 3 online classes at the local community college. All classes are online for the 2020-2021 school year.
We don't go out to eat anymore. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH SODIUM IS IN THE MEALS AT RESTAURANTS??? DON'T GET ME STARTED ON FAST FOODS!!!
I will take an updated picture when I get down to 240lbs which is my next goal.
I take a prescription appetite suppressant called phentermine. It has really helped me stay on track!!

Join me in my weightloss journey. I started on 7/12/2020.This picture was the tipping point to where I HAD to do something!!
In this picture I hit my heaviest at 300.4lbs!!馃く I have this picture in my room so I have a daily reminder.
I went to a local weightloss clinic where I was prescribed phentermine...a prescription strength appetite suppressant. I also use the food/water/excersise tracker app My Fitness Pal by Under Amour. I use the free version. These 2 combined has helped me lose 33.5lbs to date!
My next weightloss goal is 240lbs. I haven't seen that weight for 8yrs!! 馃く
I have noticed an increase in energy which is something I could really use! I usually weigh in on Sat mornigs. So I will try to update in Saturdays.
