Okay! So I keep seeing these things about how regular everyday products have been recalled after causing a few deaths. While guns have tons of deaths per year and nothing has been done about it. This is not an accurate comparison.
The products that are often mentioned are produced by companies, where if their product is faulty they could be sued. So they recall the items in question before it gets out of hand.
With Guns however it’s different. Because the guns are functioning correctly, the companies that make them don’t recall them. If a gun malfuntions due to the way it was made, the company would be in danger of being sued. It would be even more damaging to the company, if the same make and model of gun consistently malfunctioned.
When it comes down to it, it’s ignorant to compare the recall of private companies’ products to the nation’s collective fatal shootings.
The problem lies with the people who take the guns and go destroy innocent lives that are the problem.
Many people own guns in this country. Most own them because they are a tool. A tool to hunt with, a tool used for personal protection, a tool used to erradicate problem animals such as prairie dogs and coyotes. Most people safely handle their firearms.
However because the problem lies with the percentage of people, who will pick up a gun and massacre innocent people. That is when we need to take a step back and think.
We as a nation need to step back and seriously think. What is reasonable and what we should limit as readily available to the public. We need to reach an equilibrium where we think about the functionality of the weapons our nation allows.
We should still be able to defend ourselves, and we should still be able to use the tools necessary for hunting and farming. But we should not be allowed easy access to the tools capable of a mass murder.
Some Firearms should specifically be used in the military, and not readily available to the public.

My teacher made a comment that all Millennials constantly are dissatisfied, because they want to change the world.
Heck, all I want to do is be able to afford decent housing and have a job that’s in my field of study.
The fact that many of us can do neither, makes me think that we should.

Movie theaters
Okay Guys. So I heard this thing where some movie theaters are going to start banning large bags from their establishment. All in the name of people bringing int their own 98 cent candy, as opposed to the 4$ ones they sell there.
I have a solution! Let them bring stuff in from the outside! But only sell things you can’t get from the local Walmart haha
Examples: 🍿 popcorn! Dippin Dots!! Funnel cake!! Nachos!! Ect
Or, just you know make your concessions not add another 10$ onto the price of your ticket for a medium popcorn and a small drink: that could work too.

5 Steps to a Healthier Body
Write in a journal every day. Record everything you eat and review the pages every few days. Not only will you be monitoring your intake, you might also notice patterns - maybe you eat things because they were there or because you had a stressful or boring day.
Do yoga! Duh, this is a yoga blog. It’s going to be on here.
Eat in! There are so many howto and recipe vidoes and infographics out there on the world wide web, there’s no excuse to eat out all the time. Plus, you KNOW what’s going on your plate.
Color your plate with vegetables. If your plate is all brown (fried things … ), you might want to add some green, red, or orange to your plate.
Supplement your yoga with strength and cardio exercises. Maybe add a jog, a vigorious hike, bike riding, or pump some iron at the gym. The world is your (fitness) oyster!

Have you ever noticed, that when you grow up going to the dentist. The people were always so nice, and helpful. When you were little they would tell you things like fun facts about flossing.
But at some point it turns into dull resignation from the fact that you are now an adult & do not floss and we aren’t going to tell you again, so I hope you enjoy your 500$ dentist bill. Have a cookie on your way out.

Hey; if you feel full of anxiety and self loathing. Just remember you yourself is the human who is thinking these things. You can bring yourself back into the present by breathing into you abdomen. As you are doing this you need to remember that your body is absorbing all of what you’re thinking.
It tenses, your heartbeat quickens and you start to sweat as you think of everything that you did. It’s extremely hard on your body: when you start feeling like this try to talk to yourself like a little child who is experiencing the same thing you are.
We all used to be children and the same calming techniques work on them as they do on us. We all secretly want snacks, to play with play dough and take naps. We all want to be told that it’s okay.
When there isn’t anyone around us besides ourselves, sometimes we need to take a moment and tell ourselves it’s okay. That we are doing the best we can. That we are a good human despite being imperfect.
