Art. Can you believe it? :O I had today off from work after getting my second Pfizer shot yesterday. With time.....why not art. Most of theae days, after I get off work, come home, cook and eat dinner....then I don't feel like staring in on a new art piece. And when it is my days off.... I have chores and want to laze around.

Day 1: Stairs

While I don't have really stairs, or seen any today, I do have steps up the porch to the front door. I used the camera on my little Samsung S5 and ised the fisheye filter

The Doctor and River

(Let me first say....I haven’t watched Doctor Who in a LONG time. I kinda gave up after Amy and Rory left the Doctor and he moved on to have Clara as his companion (not a fan of Clara)....though I did watch the special of the end of 11 and the start of 12....which is when I really stopped watching. I haven’t really seen a single episode of 13....except for the New Year’s special last night with the Daleks)

River’s hair is hard to draw T__T I just have to keep telling myself ‘Just think of the shape....the shape....Then you can add detail..’

Sonoma Strong 2020

Starting back in 2017 after the Tubbs fire that roared into Santa Rosa, I have been making art pieces to commemorate after each wildfire disaster....last being the Kincade fire in 2019. So this time around, I thought to do a little different...and paint. Our recent wildfires close to home is the Hennessy fire to the east and Walbridge to the west....both currently standing at over 90% containment.

With re-draw challenges all around....I saw recently one done by an artist I watch on Facebook (Audrey Kawasaki), as she did  a shot from Princess Mononoke. I thought, why not try my hand at that....plus, I loved that movie back when I was in middle school.

A little research online, I also learned this week is ‘Studio Ghibli Week’ also. What a fit! So here is my redraw of San
