Tell it like it is. Personal note: I have inherited, chronic anxiety and depression, exacerbated by trauma and assault. Four years ago I began to be more honest with myself about whose responsibility it is to manage it: MINE. Since then, I have done so, better than ever. STILL, they both have a way of sneaking up on me. And, unfortunately, the people around me. People I love and I know love me. Still I hurt them, and am often hurt by them, despite knowing no such intentions exist. I am tired of the shame and silence around these things and it is a mission of my work to research and raise awareness about what it means to be spiritually, physically, and emotionally in tune. Whether you have a mental health condition or know someone who does, true resources are there, if sometimes unnecessarily difficult to find. I’ll list a couple links here. Please take the time to understand what it means for you and your loved ones to be healthy and safe in your relationships.
