With Women's Month at our midst, we can't help but think of strong and successful women all around us and deem them the ideal, our source of inspiration. Well and good! But I think we also shouldn't forget that "strength" and "success" comes in all forms. Each person has his or her own measure and meaning of strength and success. Yes, women all around us are models of what we can be if we put our minds to it, but let's not forget 1) to celebrate the small acts of strength and success that we already do every day, and 2) evaluate what success and strength truly mean to us and our lives. The weekend farmer's market by United Nations University is worth a visit if you catch yourself in Tokyo on a weekend. It's akin to the Salcedo Market filled with fresh local finds. Some of the things we bought: fresh apple juice, vegan muffins, and ginger syrup, which was such a good buy (super good for the throat, thanks for the reco @isabelcang)!
