Yesterday "Crystal Gaze" reached two unexpected milestones! 400,000 words + it became my first fic to get 1000 kudos! ❤️

It's so wonderfully surprising to me! I am literally "Miss Nobody" and I swear I would have continued my fic even for 5 readers and 1 comment!

I know that this is a very long story, I know that there are very emotionally hard chapters (and they are not finished yet) I know that reading about blind Sanji is not a "popular" trope, but that is exactly why CG exists. I started that fic precisely because I had never found Sanji in that particular condition, and I really wanted to write something about it. In the end, it came out a story like "what would have happened if Sanji had stayed with the Vinsmokes, with the additional problem of his blindness + in MODERN AU + Zosan"

I had no expectations about it, I just really wanted to tell this story and tackle delicate topics with the right care, as well as talk about love! And yet, today I find myself with so many passionate readers, so many wonderful fanarts, so many sweet comments, people who have been following me for almost 1 year, week after week, and others who binge-read 40 chapters in a row!

Also, I know I haven't posted updates on tumblr for a while, due to my own issues, but know that the story is still ongoing and is nearing its end!

We have reached the end

The final chapter is out and I will post here what I have posted in the notes of the chapter:

I posted my first fanfiction on AO3 after a 13 year hiatus on November 10th, though I wrote it at the end of October. It seems fitting that a year after that, I’m finishing the LARGEST thing (be it fic or any other piece) I have ever written. Over 300k words and a lot of planning, nerves and tears. I feel emotional, proud and very, very happy.

This has been quite the journey and I wish to thank each and everyone of you for your company but, especially, for your support. I know we writers should write for ourselves (I do that, I write what I want to) but I cannot deny the warmth that I feel whenever I read your thoughts on my stories. I felt all of your love, every single week, and it pushed me to invest time and to finish this fic. You will all be in my heart forever. 

I truly hope this story touched you all in some way because it has been with me since January, consuming my thoughts and haunting my dreams. I loved every single bit of it and I hope you did too. 

I accepted a job offer and I'm due to start in the beginning of November. Being a full-time job, I already know this will cut down on my writting time, but I will not stop writting!

I will see you all (should you wish to continue reading my works) in the one-shots (or novellas) I have planned for TMG's universe, or whenever I post new stories.
