Stella & Suzy

Stella and Suzy were both walking along

When suddenly Suzy felt that something was wrong

Suzy asked Stella “why did you scream?”

To which Stella replied “what do you mean?”

This puzzled Suzy, for she knew what she’d heard

But Stella claimed that she’d never said a word

When Stella and Suzy turned around to go home

They both noticed 6 footprints running down the road

2 for Stella, 2 for Suzy, but what of the other 2?

they looked at each other, both wished that they knew

Had they known each other they might not have been scared

Instead they remained mute, and went separate ways down the stairs

That night in her flat Suzy felt a cold chill

She knew she wasn’t alone and it made her feel ill

The next day as Stella left she saw Suzy was gone

If Stella knew Suzy she’d have known something was wrong

If Stella had known Suzy maybe she could have saved her

But now Stella was alone and she too was in danger

Cloud King

Enveloped by a magnificent cloud the sun fails to make any appearance this day. The cloud does the work of the world, creating a premature night. It contains dips and valleys, ridges and rock, it contains the landscapes of the whole world within itself. Birds can be seen skiing its slopes, trees can be seen reaching high to tickle its belly. It is the most magnificent creation on this earth. Will this be the one to last? Will this one make an impact on the future of the landscapes below? Like a lion in the lurch, a great snowy owl in the night. It is a monument, it knows no limits to its fortitude. One day it will become dust, one day no one will remember its might. But for now, it swirls above in a seemingly perpetual glory. This veil of the earth is boundless.
