Tommy Knockers

Tommy Knockers are a rare enemy sometimes found in the underground. they appear to be human but a massive helmet encasing their cranium.

these beings display titanic feats of psychic strength, able to levitate large objects, create lightning from their bodies and harm the minds of those nearby.

Tommy Knockers are not inherently violent but should always be approached with caution.

they tend to have 4 states of activity, dormancy, Euphoria, delirium, and Frenzy

dormancy is a state of extreme rest. the Tommy Knocker will stand or float in place, completely still. they will not move to attack unless they are awoken.

Euphoria is characterized by sounds of tapping, humming, or muffled singing coming from within the helmet. in this state the Tommy Knocker is likely to be docile or perhaps even benevolent.

Delirium is a state of confusion, this often state it enters as it leaves dormancy. this state is characterized by Mumbling, or shouting from the helmet, along with erratic twitching. the amiability of a Tommy Knocker in this state will be completely unpredictable, they will be just as likely to hurt you as they are to ignore you.

Frenzy is characterized by sounds of screaming, loud chattering or coughing from within the helmet, along with aggravated body language like stomping, twitching and flailing. A Tommy Knocker in a state of Frenzy is only a danger and made MUST be avoided at all costs!

the Docs

was inspired by the Vykkers from Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. these creatures might have been human once, now they solely exist to support the Forces of Morak, by modifying them, repairing their weapons and building new weapons for them. their brains have been forcibly engorged with new matter to make them more intelligent, but its also made them slower and heavily dependent on machinery to assist them. it is believed that these creatures are the only ones who know Moraks true nature, unfortunately, speech is one of many abilities that Morak has robbed from them.

some designs of possible war companies that now serve Morak.

the Fire-Walkers primarily use flame throwers and old flame disposal units as weapons, their uniforms gleam with embers, like they're still burning from the bombs that fell centuries ago. they tend to favor slow and persistent siege tactics.

the Acid Dogs will bury themselves in the acidic soil of the underground in order to hide themselves until prey wanders near. they tend to attack guard patrols and caravans over attacking settlements.

the Cobalt Elephants utilize bombs and rockets salvaged from old bunkers and armories. equipped with gas masks and heavy armor these heavy assault troops will blast the gates off a town before ransacking it, resisting any gunfire that comes their way.

the Nitro Hounds are modified assault troops who carry tanks of mysterious substances on their back. pipes feed these fluids into their blood stream turning them into ballistic berserkers, charging into enemy lines and hurling themselves over barricades. they tend to favor pistols and Bayonetted rifles.

another NitroHound Sketch

more Nitrohound stuff. im thinking of renaming them, with Nitrohound instead being the name if a specific company or unit of them. I like the idea that even after all thats been done to them they still retain faded aspects of their military structures, either them having different units, specialties, and commanders.

I have some ideas for different companies like the NitroHounds, AcidDogs, and FireWalkers.

the Fire Walkers prefer siege tactics, they'll gather outside of city walls and hammer them with bombs until they break through. they prefer fire disposal units as weapons rather than normal weapons. they also have the unique appearance of shedding embers from their eternally smoldering clothes. they are durable and have resistance to fire and bombs.

the Acid Dogs like to use subterfuge, burying themselves in the ground or hiding in ruins until the enemy comes in close. they prefer shotguns and submachine guns over longer range weapons. they get their names from the tainted acidic soil they bury themselves in which has caused them to become heavily melted and deteriorated. though they are slower they deal more damage in close combat and have stealth advantages.

the Nitro Hounds prefer charging tactics, using delta formations and spear-tip formations to break apart enemy lines. they have strange pipes and tubes leading into them from packs on their backs, almost like they've been experimented on. they can move faster than most of their sibling companies and have the ability to leap over barricades like sprinters in a zombie movie.

Im trying to post less sketches with notes on them as I worry the scribbles are annoying but I like talking about these guys.

these frightening monstrosities are the sad remains of the human soldiers who fought in the 3rd world war. on the day the world burned and Morak was born he took them, body and soul, he twisted and maimed them into horrific beasts. their minds are so warped by Moraks hateful touch that they still believe they are in the war, and believing their enemies have now taken refuge underground, they march on crusades into the earth, to kill and take prisoners. they yell back and forth between one and other, but with their bodies so warped it sounds like little more than animal yowling and barking.

they drag innocent survivors to the surface to face Moraks judgement, believing Morak to be whatever God the soldiers worshipped in life.

pretty self explanatory, just some Warhammer doodles. I always imagine Horus having bushy eyebrows and a lot of hair on his chest and arms, and I always imagine Konrad having no eyebrows at all. We've got a Pic of Horus in some robes, before he went sicko-mode, a young Konrad before he dawned his power armor and a random fun Ork drawing which im quite proud of.

A SNEAK PEAK! at one of the new monsters for Morak of Madness, the rpg im working on with @clericalcr0w

I created this from a nightmare in which i was being chased through a basement by a large upright cicada like monster. the Nosferatu fly is a beastly insect standing anywhere from 5'8" to 6'4", it prowels deep damp tunnels looking for prey. once it finds food, it will charge it, its peg-like feet emitting a loud rapid thudding as it closes in. it grabs ahold of prey with a pair of long grasping arms, and its fangs will lock its food firmly in its mouth, after that a hidden proboscis will penetrate the skin and begin to drain the blood from the creature, like a mosquito or tick. it is said an adult Nosferatu Fly can drain a grown man of blood in less than 2 minutes.

these creatures may be terrifying but they are not invincible, bright light damages their sensitive eyes and they will flee from it. extreme colds can slow their biology and make them sluggish while fire can burn them just as it does any animal.

Had a dream a while ago about Warhammer 40K, where I learned that there was a meme in-universe among the Mechanicus where they would trick each other into opening a file that contained a picture of Vashtorr the Arkifane. Presumably, this would then require the victim to waste time scrubbing their minds of potential Chaos corruption. They referred to this meme as "getting Vashtorred."

the Enigmatic Mustard Marine

this mysterious yellow clad Marine appears in battles seemingly at random and without warning. with no emblem on his armor delineating chapter or rank, a focus on unorthodox tactics and improvised weapons, his presence is a stark almost comedic vision on the battlefield.

many guardsmen have taken to calling this strange Marine "The Mustard Marine" after his bright yellow armor.

he is a silent and stalwart figure, rarely engaging in conversation beyond a simple "yes, sir" "no, sir." he is said to vanish from the field almost as quickly as he arrives, without honors, without trumpets, without a word spoken.

hes been seen in many unusual battles with a variety of foes, but his most notable was on Cadia, where he, 100 guardsmen, and 4 Ultramarines held an anti air cannon from an onslaught of Slaaneshi demons for nearly a month. in the end, it took the Black Legion crashing a damaged gunship into it to stop its constant firing.

wip of some more wh40k stuff. this guy is from a homebrew group called Genomarines. they are the unholy result of a genestealer cult getting their hands on pure uncorrupted space marine gene-seed. a terrifying mix of Imperium technology and Tyranid ferocity.

loyalty to the Emperor is so hard coded into space Marines that even these guys have a twisted confused faith system incorporating him, seeing the Emperor and Tyranid Hive Mind as dual gods within a pantheon,none representing destruction and the other representing life and change.

these pseudo space Marines have even developed their own basterdized version of Robute Guilliman's Codex Astartes, known as "the Codex Tyranis" forming themselves into chapters and legions in a gross parody of the Emperors own forces.

Ghost stories now tell of a phantom fleet of astartes with strange monstrous mutations who descend upon desperate and unguarded planets, abducting any and all on its surface. only recently have these reports recieved any form of foundation or proof. the thought of a rogue group of monster astartes masquerading as true Space Marines, and stealing people, on mass from settlements has been sturring up fear within the Imperium of Man

just some Warhammer stuff. this a Death Guard i thought up a few weeks ago, Orthax the Abomination, formerly known as Orthax the Impervious. he sided with Horus during the Heresy and became well known for his favoring of oceanic stealth tactics, sneaking into enemy territory through waterways and drain pipes. his years fighting in the ocean transformed him into a uniquely aquatic Plague marine with Barnacles oozing toxic slime growing over his body, razor sharp coral growths on his legs and back and his spilled intestines mutating into a colony of feeding eel like appendages.

despite his grizzly appearance he is known for his humanity and patience, often attempting to sway his enemies to chaos rather than immediately killing them. he tries to lift them from their meager lives, the same way mortarion did, when the Primarch arrived on his home planet of Moa. he sees the Imperium of Man, not as evil. but as a group of ignorant bigots who are rejecting what they don't understand. he sees his fellow Death Guard not just as fellow warriors but as his family.
