Hi! I hope you are ok! When can you update your fic (Memories of Tomorrow)? I am dying to know what comes next!

Hey :) I am going to upload the next chapter this weekend, hoping for saturday but sunday is probably more realistic. I really wish I was faster with updates, but lately I have just been getting so many ideas for new stories that stole away my attention and then life got a little hectic (it's all better now though)

you with the sad eyes, tell me a tale I wrote and posted it right after the end of Loki season 2 to make the ending a little less oh my god he is just doomed to be alone forever-feeling and I think that resonated with a lot of people. It's also my only non ship focused fic. (Even if my Frostiron brain certainly saw them getting together at some point after the events of the fic hehe)

the trees don't talk a very classic Loki wasn't the bad guy-type fic where Tony and Loki are staying together in a cabin in the woods after the events of The Avengers and slowly grow closer. It's one of my few finished multi chapter fics and I'm very proud of myself for that.

Memories of Tomorrow My current ongoing project. Tony and Loki are thrown back in time to Asgard 500 years ago and have to find a way back home. The theme of falling in love with someone's past and having to come to terms with the fact that that is no longer them in the present is the main focus of it. One of my favorite fics I have written so far.

on dragons wings Dragons are cool. Tony Stark is cool. Tony Stark as a dragon??? Hell yeah!!

in a heartbeat Just pure light-hearted humor and fluff with the biggest idiots in love you will ever see. If you ever have a bad day, read it and I can assure you, you will feel a little better. :)

4. What fandoms do you write for?

Marvel.

My first ever attempt at writing a fic was actually for BTS (it's also where my username comes from lmao) but I am no longer active in the shipping part of that fandom and the fic I started is 100% abandoned. I have even considered orphaning it but I am attached to it in a strange way. I know it's bad but damn, those were my first writer baby steps.

5. Do you respond to comments?

Yes. It sometimes takes a while because I can be a little socially anxious and I worry that what I respond doesn't properly show how greateful I am, but I try my best.

6. Fic with the angstiest ending?

Anomaly It's about Tony and Loki being stuck in a time loop together, only they never find a way out. Tony's mind slowly crumbles until he loses all awareness and turns into just one of the mindless people unaware of the loops existing. Loki is doomed to be stuck in it for eternity, unable to do anything but watch Tony from afar. It's got a little kick, I'd say.

7. Fic with the happiest ending?

This one was actually a little hard for me to chose because most of my fics end in a happy, but somewhat ambiguous way. If I had to pick one, I think it would be in a heartbeat. It's just overall very light hearted and fluffy and happy.

8. Do you get hate?

No. I have gotten a few comments on my ongoing fic (Memories of Tomorrow) that made me uncomfortable but nothing that I would classify as hate toward me. Mostly it was directed toward how the characters acted within the fic and I think one person once mentioned my writing being ooc. I guess it stems from that fic being rather removed from the usual fanon interpretation and also it following an enemies to lovers route where they truly hate each other for a while.

But yeah, no hate toward me as a writer.

9. Do you write smut?

Sometimes. I just don't think I'm all that good at it to be honest.

10. Have you ever co-written a fic?

Not yet.

11. All time favourite ship?

Frostiron. I got really into it during the time Infinity War released and the obsession has not stopped ever since. I am afraid it's terminal, doc.

I also love Spirk (Spock x Kirk from Star Trek). The main reason why I have never written anything for them is because I watched the show in my native language and I am afraid I would botcher their voices when writing in English.

12. WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Oof. I have three fics that I started posting with full intentions of finishing them only for the wind to blow completely out of my sails. I wouldn't say I want to finish them, but they do cross my mind occasionally and well, who knows?

And then there's this WIP for a fic about a Loki/Tony/Steve love triangle (a PROPER triangle, mind you, with all the drama that comes with it) that I love daydreaming about but I know will never see the light of day.

13. Writing strengths?

Dialogue. It comes very easily to me, almost as if there's a play going on in my head and I just have to transcribe what they are saying.

14. Writing weaknesses?

Transitions. How do people do them? Teach me your magic!!

Also any scene that is completely without dialogue. It's easy for me to turn a simple dialogue script into something more but when I don't have that starting point, it takes me twice as long and I am always afraid what I write turns out stiff and bland.

And I also stay stuck in the editing phase for my fics a lot. Sometimes I gotta let that one awkward sentence just stay awkward and I know staring at it for 3 hours won't help me, but yeah, I struggle to actually put that advice into practice.

Thank you for tagging me @bottan-blobbington You made me comb through wips that I already forgot existed, but now that they are no longer caked in dust, who knows what they might turn into :D

“Anthony Howardson,” Loki called. The crowd went quiet, but the air was still filled with giddy anticipation. “Are you willing to fight for Asgard and lead the best of our kingdom into battle against the wicked dragon?”

Tony took yet another step forward until he bowed directly at Loki’s feet. Loki reached out with his hand and Tony pressed a kiss against the back of it, so very gentle compared to the brute strength he had shown mere moments prior. He smiled at Loki and Loki could not resist smiling back. 

“It would be my honor.”

Next to him Loki snorted out a laugh. “Perhaps I should just keep you here for the betterment of the city.”

“Don’t you dare,” Tony grumbled. “Since when do you care about peace and quiet?”

Loki dramatically clutched at his chest. “Are you insinuating I would ever do anything but try to better this city?”

Tony gets turned into a cat and is catnapped by Loki (Frostiron)

“There is the obvious. The charmingly arrogant billionaire that lets everyone into their bed, yet no one close enough to see it a second time.”

“And the not so obvious?”

“Most know that you, my dear Tony Stark, are the sole monetary support behind the Avengers. But I know more.”

Tony hesitated and for a moment Loki thought he might pull back from their embrace. But the bait was too good for him not to take. “And what do you know?”

“I know that their most precious member, the revered Iron Man…” Loki grinned and revelled in the panic that flashed in Stark's eyes. It made them seem almost unnaturally round. “He is not the one that built the suit. It was you.”

“I wish to thank you. For speaking out for me.” Loki walked into the workshop, his eyes trailing over the several half disassembled Iron Man suits before returning to Tony. “And I wish to ask you. Why?”

“Why did you believe me?”

Tony shrugged. “You sounded like you were telling the truth.”

“I never sound like I am telling the truth,” Loki replied as if it were an indisputable fact. “Even when I am.”

Loki waved his hand in a dismissive gesture. “You are not missing out on not knowing about the greatest killjoy of the modern day.”

The beer bottle shattered. Shards of glass splattered across the floor and the liquid's pungent smell filled the air. “Steve Rogers is alive?”

Loki wasn’t certain if he should be more worried about the stains on his carpet or that odd panic that had crept into Bucky’s eyes. “Unfortunately, yes.”

AU where Loki accidentally saves Bucky from Hydra (Frosti- no wait, muscle memory. *clears throat* Winterfrost)

Sure, at some point he would have to do his own research and find a way out of the loop, but that didn’t have to be right now. Not when there were still so many things left to explore.

“Do you want to get drunk and watch one of your awful movies?”

Tony turned around, mouth opening to speak, but Loki was quicker.

“Yes, I know, usually you are the one asking that.” He shrugged and gestured loosely towards the suit. “Consider it as an apology for all the scratches left behind on your tin can.”

Suspicion flashed through Tony’s eyes, but Loki was not bothered by it. There was simply not enough time for it to grow into something more that might lead the man onto the road of discovery.

Anti-honesty hour: what comes most easily to you in writing? :D

Fight scenes! I just love writing them so much!! When the repulsors go boom and the daggers go weeee and the magic goes woosh, and even better if there is no dialogue inbetween. Why would I need it when all that action speaks for itself??

They really are the type of scenes I write down once and never have to edit again just because of how easily they come to me.

It has finally happened - I wrote a fan-fic of a fan-fic. 😁

But taking into consideration that the story that inspired me was the marvellous "Memories of Tomorrow" by @minhyongi - how could I not do it? 😁

The Loki Platonic Relationships Fest is an event about exploring and celebrating Loki's platonic relationships with other characters, whether they were explored in canon or not! This event is open to both characters from the MCU and the TV series, as well as characters from the comics.

Rules:

Each participant must complete a fic (minimum 1k) for the prompt that they receive by the 20th of May.

The prompts given must be platonic in nature, as in their main focus must be on a platonic relationship, and not a romance.

Mentions to romantic relationships are allowed, but they shouldn't be featured prominently in the fic.

Prompts can be specific, or just contain the characters and a general description of the type of fic you'd like to see.

Thinking about Agent of Asgard Loki again

And what if Laufey was never Loki's father and the reason his birthmother was hiding him in a temple was because he found out?

Imagine a brief period of peace during the war, on a diploamtic visit to Jotunheim Frigga finds herself in a room fuilled with warriors all trying to one up each other except for the silent shadow at Laufey's side. A woman, a soreceress like herself, looking just as bored as she is. They find solace in each other, a break from the nonsensical war and connect in their appreciation for the magic their husbands never cared for. A baby is born. But the war breaks out again and when Laufey finds out it isn't his, his wife is forced to hide it in a temple, secretly sending a message to Frigga to let her know of the location. Frigga makes sure to guide Odin to it, knowing he would have enough softness in his heart to take the child in.

The bundle in his arm stirs, and Loki stops to catch a glimpse of his face.

“Lokes?” Tony’s voice is unbearably weak.

Loki swallows down the tight knot of worry in his throat. “Don’t speak. Spare your strength.”

“You’re blue.” He says it so casually. Like it's nothing special. He says it in the same way as he said you’re pretty several weeks ago, when they had spent the evening together and gotten drunk and his fingers had traced the lines of Loki’s face. And just like back then, Loki doesn't know what to make of it.

“I had not noticed. Thank you for telling me.”

“No worries.”

Tony falls silent again. His eyes are still clouded and weak, his blinks far too slow, but his breathing is steady. Loki pulls him tighter against his chest and continues onward.
