Over the years, I’ve noticed trends in behaviors and attitudes between fans of particular Twst characters and I’ve wanted to know if there was any evidence to back up these observations. In other words… Are individuals with certain traits more likely to gravitate to one Twst character (in this case, one of the overblot boys) over the others? And maybe if this survey is successful, I’ll ask the same of the rest of the cast—

And so I thought to collect this data, analyze the results, and share the final report with the public. This will be done with the help of a friend (Mod Jeido from twstgameplay) that was also curious about the topic. The analysis itself will be conducted using JMP, a statistical software.

If you’re interested too, then please fill out the following form and/or share it on socials. (I don’t have a Reddit or Tiktok and I’m not active on Twitter so I’s appreciate it a lot!!) The more responses collected, the stronger the conclusions we can make!

Valkyrie: Just dropped off the last box of crap at the venue. Need anything else?

Demetria: No, I think that’s everything. Thanks for your help!

Valkyrie: No prob!

Demetria: The only thing left is…

Demetria: Have you or Elektra had any more accidents in the past two days?

Valkyrie: Nothing. What about your girls?

Demetria: Everything has been fine. I wonder if Moira is giving us a grace period while we search for dates.

Valkyrie: Uh, Moira?

Demetria: The ghost at the venue. I got her to tell me a little about herself yesterday. She still won’t explain why she cares so much if I have a date, though.

Valkyrie: She just said she was bitter about not having a date once, right?

Demetria: There has to be more than that if she’s going through the trouble of cursing us.

Demetria: Especially because she didn’t even respect my wishes to go single… sigh.

Valkyrie: And how’s the search for a date going? Elektra and I have been taking bets on who you might go with!

Demetria: Ahh… I haven’t started looking…

Valkyrie: We only have a week left!

Demetria: Y-yeah, well…

Demetria: Look, it’s Araya. She looks… shell shocked.

Valkyrie: A-Araya?

Araya: I……. I….

Araya: I guess I have a date.

Valkyrie: Yoooo! Nice job!

Demetria: Ah, what a relief. Now it’s just up to me.

Demetria: Smart move. He’ll be working music half the night, so you have a lot of time to yourself.

Demetria: Maybe I should ask Lilia for the same reason.

Araya and Valkyrie: We believe in you, Demetria…

Trey: What was up with you today? I’ve never seen you this distracted in class.

Demetria: Guuh… I only have six days to find a date.

Demetria: I tried asking Lilia for strategic reasons, but he said he wasn’t the right choice.

Demetria: And then when Kalim was about to say something, Lilia covered his mouth before he could make a sound.

Demetria: Why did it all have to fall on me? I seriously don’t want a date, but every other girl has done their part.

Demetria: Even Araya sucked it up and got a date. Though, I guess Violet didn’t have to do anything…

Trey: I wouldn’t mind going with you if you have no other options.

Demetria: Hey, don’t say it like that! You’re awesome, Trey. Any girl would be lucky to go with you. But…

Trey: But I’m not a vampire or some kind of hot demon, so I’m not really your type, right?

Demetria: Right. But where am I supposed to find a hot vampire demon!?

Trey: That would certainly be tough.

Demetria: I’d love to go with you, Trey, but I don’t want to take away your chance to go with someone as more than a friend.

Trey: I really don’t think that would be an issue. I have no one in mind I would even want to ask, and even then I’d have to clear it with Althea if I wanted to bring in someone from outside the school.

Trey: She seems so busy with security already that I wouldn’t want to bother her.

Demetria: I-if you’re sure, then I happily accept!

Demetria: Thanks so much, Trey!

Trey: No problem! Just don’t expect too much from me on the dance floor, alright?

Demetria: So you’re a woman, huh?

Elektra: Alright, fess up, woman.

Elektra: Why have you been cursing us?

Venue Ghost: Cursing you..?

Althea: Give us the honest truth! You owe it to me after breaking my leg!

Ryder: It’s just a sprain, though.

Ryder: But seriously, why hurt us just because we have dates? I’d ask if you’re bitter about being single at your own prom, but it doesn’t exist here.

River: I’m gonna be pissed if Ruggie’s scratches don’t heal in time!

Venue Ghost: A curse, huh…..

Venue Ghost: That’s right! How dare you girls bring dates to my home!

Venue Ghost: Do you have any idea what it feels like to be the only one without a date!? Think about your friends that are sad and single.

Araya: Hey! The three of us who are going alone are doing it because we want to!

Demetria: Exactly. I don’t wanna deal with having a date when I’m already in charge of organizing an event.

Venue Ghost: Tough shit!

Venue Ghost: Being stuck without a date… some of us never recover!

Venue Ghost: It’s too late for me, but not for you girls.

Venue Ghost: If the rude one, the sad one, and the frazzled one don’t all have dates by the night of your event, this curse will follow you to the end!

Violet: Hey, genius. I’m doing music all night. Too busy for a date.

Violet: I’m basically hired staff, and staff don’t bring dates.

Venue Ghost: Urghhh, fine. The rude one is excused, this time.

Venue Ghost: But the sad one and frazzled one must have dates!

Araya: Even if the name fits, do you have to say it out loud?

Iris: That should be easy enough. There have to be a thousand guys who would go with you.

Iris: H-hey, don’t look so dejected over this! You don’t have to go on a second date with them or anything!

Araya: I don’t even wanna go on a first date!

Araya: You… you guys owe me if I find one!

Demetria: Violet, let me in your band so I don’t have to find someone.

Violet: Too late. We’ve already got our set list mostly down. Another member would throw us off.

Demetria: Wha— A ghost? Haunting this place? It was built like, 30 years ago!

Demetria: Aim higher and haunt somewhere more interesting!

Venue Ghost: Silence, living girl! This is my domain!

Iris: Don’t throw shit at us! If you have a problem with this place being used, take it up with management!

Venue Ghost: You have no right to throw a party in my home!

Iris: We need to get outta here!

PROM VENUE - OUTSIDE

Iris: Dammit! Right when I thought everything might actually go off without a hitch.

Iris: I’m sick of this place! Why are there ghosts fucking everywhere!?

Demetria: It’s okay, Iris. We’ll figure this out. You just sit down and decompress.

Violet: Some leftover chocolate cake. Cater didn’t want the rest, so I took it home.

Iris: Why do you two have those fancy drinks with you!?

Elektra: We couldn’t go to Mostro Lounge and not grab a drink. It’s got lychee jelly in it.

Demetria: The ghost won’t stop throwing stuff at us, so we need to go in with a plan.

Violet: Why don’t I just yell at it until it gets too annoyed to continue? Then it’ll have to stop and talk to us.

Demetria: No! I don’t want you getting sent to the infirmary again.

Elektra: I could do it. That way she won’t have to be the one that goes to the infirmary.

Demetria: I don’t want anyone going to the infirmary!!

PROM VENUE - OUTSIDE

Demetria: No one is responding to my texts…

Iris: They better be damn busy if they’re ignoring you!

Iris: Hey, isn’t that one of the eel twins? Which one is it? I can never tell.

Demetria: That’s Jade. Hey, Jade!

Jade: Ah, prefect. Are you two hard at work on the event? Its name escapes me.

Demetria: Yeah, prom. Well, actually, we’re investigating something too.

Iris: Have you ever heard of any curses related to having a date to a dance? We’ve all had a little bad luck.

Demetria: Except for me, Violet, and Araya, who don’t have dates.

Jade: A dating curse? Can’t say I have, but that’s quite an interesting idea.

Jade: I could ask around. If someone knows about it, they’ll most certainly tell me.

Jade: Still, I don’t believe anything like that exists.

Demetria: Thanks, Jade.

Demetria: By the way, you might not want to eat those mushrooms you got there.

Demetria: Panther caps. They’ll wreck your stomach.

Jade: I was merely planning to add them to my collection.

Jade: I didn’t know you were so well versed in mushrooms, prefect.

Demetria: I had a big foraging phase in middle school when I was trying to find fairies in the woods.

Demetria: I learned a lot about what you can and can’t eat in nature during that time.

Demetria: I gave up after a couple years when it became clear I wasn’t going to find any fairies, but maybe I should pick it back up so I can learn about the plant life that doesn’t exist in my world.

Jade: A woman after my own heart… I’d be happy to volunteer as your date to the dance, if you need one.

Demetria: Sorry, but I’m not interested in younger men.

Demetria: But I wouldn’t mind joining you on your hikes once in a while.

Jade: Then I look forward to our expeditions.

Jade: Good luck in your search, ladies.

Iris: …..

Iris: WHAT THE HELL!?!?

Iris: Jade asking you to prom is too scary!

Iris: That’s way scarier than any curse!

Demetria: I think he was just joking around.

Iris: Even as a joke it’s scary! At this point, I don’t think I’ll be scared even if we do find a curse.

Iris: Ahhh… a serious shiver just went down my spine!

Demetria: Then, let’s go inside and take your mind off it.

Iris: Everything looks the same, so how high are the chances there’s anything curse-y in here?

Demetria: Don’t get a false sense of security. Anything can happen in this place.

Demetria: Search everywhere. You never know what might be lurking.
