SAVE USPS

I'm not gonna stop talking about USPS. We need to save USPS. Sign those petitions, email your state reps.The postmaster general’s new policies are going to purposely delay deliveries, some areas will not get mail everyday, and workers are not allowed overtime. 

This means if your mail carrier does not get to deliver your mail by the end of their shift, you are not getting your mail that day. They will be forced to leave that overflow for the next morning and start where they left off. And if they have overflow again that day? Next morning mail will also be delayed. The cycle with continue and they will become so backed up. USPS relies on overtime finish routes! Workers are usually out there delivering your mail and packages for 8-10hrs a day or even more. Imagine the amount during the holiday season. 

Small businesses rely on USPS for affordable shipping prices and USPS ships EVERYWHERE in the nation. Private carriers don’t. They can choose not to service certain areas. This is going to severely affect vote-by-mail/absentee ballot and elderly/immuno suppressed people who get their medicines via mail. 

If you want a more selfish reason- If USPS goes away, you will pay upwards of $11 shipping for a $5 charm. Think about it. 

Save USPS.

Sign the petitions. Especially the White House Petition. Get your family/friends involved too. Call your reps. If you're uncomfortable with calling, email your reps or text 'USPS' to 50409, or to @resistbot on Messenger, Twitter, or Telegram.
