It's not a bad thing. Using something kids like as a medium to educate them about police officers, firefighters, rescue operators and safety is the smart thing to do.

I’ve been teaching my summer school students about firefighters and took the excuse to throw on Rescue Bots
It’s the most locked in they’ve l been with anything I’ve shown them lol

I don't quite agree with the arm and shoulder designs, but I like that her armor is both functional and pretty. She matches well with Optimus~

Not gonna lie, I quite like these Optimus and Elita designs for Cyberworld (I got these off Twitter somewhere)
Elita in particular I really like, and I also like how her limbs have actual thickness to them. I know that sounds weird, but I mean like, it doesn’t make her look skinny and more like she’s got muscle” to her, so to speak. Case in point, her TF One design, which I like, but I do wish she had more muscle

Maybe it isn’t the peak that Earthspark Elita is, but I still like it
And while I admit Optimus’ design isn’t anything too special, I don’t know, I just like it, it’s nice and simple. I think I generally just like the art style of Cyberworld

I was looking for some Transformers comics in my local library and it made me realize how precious libraries really are to people who don't have big salaries like me, but want to still read comics. The selection of graphic novels is very limited even for popular titles and it's sad.
Libraries are more than just quiet places to read, study or draw. They make books available to people who can't afford them and for stuff Transformers graphic novel especially which can cost as much as a McDonald's meal with a drink and fries, that's a big deal.
So please, support your local library if not for yourself or the library, for people on budgets. And it is the same with games and movies. Donate to the library either with books or with money.

I see they were going for making her look like a knight which is cool. The shoulders are a bit much, but I love her helmet. Overall, she looks strong and pretty.
i am looking RESPECTFULLY

You want to know what Oplita reminds me of? Fred and Wilma Flinstone. I would pay to see a sitcom of the Prime family.

random megoplita au idea for weird people like me: captain america: the first avenger megoplita au where Oppy→Steve Rogers, Elita→ Peggy Carter, Megatron→Bucky Barnes,,
Orion who was forged smaller than other bots, often underestimated, but despite everything, so full of love for Cybertron, he will never run away from battle and fight to protect the others, Elita, one of the only people who loved him the way he is and saw the best in Orion even before he became a Prime, and D-16, the one and only Orion's best friend, always protecting him and looking after đź’”
there's also so much angst in there, with Elita losing Optimus and never knowing if he's even a live, and only after centuries, she meets him again only to see him in her final moments;
D-16, captured by the enemy, brainwashed and tortured into becoming an entirely new person, forgetting everyone from his past life, including Orion, eventually become Megatron
probably cringe-y, but at least I'm free

I wanted to clarify something I meant when discussing the portrayal of females in Transformers and this can extend to any media really. When I mean a woman being her "natural" self, I mean letting her what she chooses and Beast Wars as well as Beast Machines nailed that. Making all women one thing whether it is all just eye candy or all just men with lipstick is not ok and not a natural portrayal of women. Women are diverse just like men are and as said before, Beast Wars and Beast Machines nailed that by giving us different looking and acting women. I mean at these ladies.
All of these are women and they all look different. Plus, they all had personality. THIS is how you write women right. By having them all be themselves. THIS is natural. That is what I am talking about.
Women are not men and they do not come from an assembly line like dolls or action figures. We're people.

I know this is a hard thing for people to accept about Beast Wars, but...
Part of the reason it is still one of the most beloved Transformers media is thanks to the super sexy and shamelessly feminine Blackarachnia who even managed to bag herself a gold standard boyfriend.
And you know what? As a feminine woman myself who is also a romance lover, Transformers would in fact appeal to even more girls than it already does if we allowed more female characters to be natural, in love and you know female instead of forcing them to look, act and even smell like men while being isolated. That's actually in fact not realistic not even when portraying tomboys because even they aren't just like men.
It's one of the many reasons why Dotty Malto was such a breath of fresh air. She is a lady, a mother and very much in love with her man, but I would have loved to see that in Elita-One. Heck, even a lot of dudes would pay to see an on screen wedding between Optimus Prime and Elita-One!
Yet another reason why feminine females and romance needs to make a come back in Transformers. Fans want it. Badly.

It's not just in TF. I think since the One More Day which split up Mary Jane and Spider-Man, AAA writers are determined to remove straight romances from the media and it makes me angry. I have nothing against normalizing LGBT+ couples, but not at the cost of treating it like a trend of which LGBT+ is all good while straight is doomed to be toxic or fail.
Plus, straight romance doesn't cheapen or weaken women. I speak as a happily married woman. If anything, the right man can be a woman's greatest ally.
I wonder what he meant by that 🤔🤔

Transformers Excerpts: Grinding Gears
Rodimus walks into Gears' office...
Rodimus: Gears, we need to- Whoa! *sees the candy wrappers, stacks of empty cup nuddles, a few empty coffee cups, stacks of tablet files and there's even dust* What the hack, Gears?! This place looks like a junkyard! And it smells like one too! Gears: I was going to clean it up! Rodimus: In what year?! It's no wonder your performance is poor. You can even keep your space in order. Gears: Respect your elders, boy. Rodimus: Respect is earned, Gears. And honestly, I'm questioning if you respect yourself because it's not just your space and work that's sloppy. According to reports, you've been making other workers very uncomfortable in the Earth base here. Especially the femmes and non-Autobots. You've even been using slurs. Is that true? Gears: They're exaggerating. All I did was tell things like they are. Rodimus: And what exactly is your definition of telling things like they are? Gears: That 'Cons don't belong in Autobot spaces! Rodimus: *gets in his faceplate* You will NOT say that word in ANY space, Gears. Gears: O-Ok, fine. Oversensitive boy... And as for the femmes, I have no idea what their problem is. All I did was pay them a few compliments on their beauty. Rodimus: You made comments on the size of their... Sigh, Gears, do I really have to explain it? What is your problem? Gears: I have no problem! It's everyone else here! Since you became in charge, this place has gone nuts! I was always like this! All of you changed! Rodimus: Actually, Gears, everyone was always uncomfortable with the way you were, but now there are laws in place that prohibit harassment and disrespect at the workplace as well as the awareness of hate crimes. Gears:.... Rodimus: I'm also going to say it outright even I come across as a jackhammer for saying it, I don't care that you fought in the war and have medals. I care about the here and now, and in the here and now, your attitude, your manners, your social skills and even your cleanliness habits MATTER. You can start cleaning up your office, at long last filing your files and cleaning up your mouth. I never want to hear you talk like a dumpster around here again! Got it?! Gears:... Yes, Prime... Rodimus: Note, this is not a second chance. This is an order. I expect it followed *he leaves* Gears:... Spoiled idealistic brat... *sees a cockroach* YEAAAAARGH!! *stands on the chair*

Are any of the Cybertronians in the NextGen AU musicians? – @mk-wizard on Tumblr
I dunno why, but the thought of Aftermath playing with an accordian just made me start laughing.
It's because in my take, Aftermath is a teenager and his parents are Lugnut and Strika whose culture player their own kind of polka, so he is culturally required to learn to play the accordion.

It's like I said before in a reblog and I will say in a much straighter form here. When it comes to families, who keeps is the main breadwinner and who is the home maker, has nothing to do with what is below your belt because as someone who had a day job and is now a home maker, I can confirm that I never ever needed to use my private parts to do either. Plus, neither situation affected how masculine or feminine I am. Your work has no impact on your identity. With that said, if a woman can have a career, a man can be a home maker. Gender doesn't matter in those situations. The only thing I can think of where gender has an impact is that women breastfeed and even then, she can fill bottles in advance or you can make use of high quality formula.
Moreover, whether they have a career or are a home maker, if the person IS using their private parts during work, chances are they are doing something illegal and a danger to the family.
Other than that, not being the usual type of nuclear hurts no one and if the family is more functional and better for it, don't judge. If anything, it takes a lot of maturity, selflessness, and love on the man's part to accept that his wife should work while he holds the fort because she makes the better salary. I would even call it manly of him to accept such a situation because he is doing what is best for the family instead of stroking his ego. On the flipside, women who take up being breadwinners are loving mothers, strong and also selfless because she's working for the whole family.

Are any of the Cybertronians in the NextGen AU musicians?
Of course there are musicians! If there can be cooks and teachers, there are artists of many kind.
In fact, Soundwave works as a DJ as does Blaster. Soundwave's kids are also an aspiring band. And Strongarm who comes from a family of three sisters, her eldest sister Minerva is a famous Cybertronian opera singer. Jazz himself is an aspiring singer though his day job is that of a cop. Beachcomber is part of a band.
And while they aren't musicians, they are definitely musically talented. Optimus actually does have a beautiful singing voice due to it being so deep like Barry White, Rodimus is also a talented singer and guitarist, Cyclonus' has a rather angelic voice and Alpha Trion does have a nice voice due to singing holy sermons. Aftermath can play the accordion though he is embarrassed about it and Wreck-Gar can both sing and play the accordion. Lifeline plays the flute and Thundercracker plays the piano.

What I appreciate is that even if you say you're not into a specific ship, 98% of the fanbase will be chill about it.
The 2% is Reddit and well... almost nobody on Reddit is nice.
The transformers community is so nice compared to the Rottmnt community like the difference is insane

Lol, on this subject, Han Solo in Legends was actually a house husband who primarily stayed with the kids (Leia was chief of state) while still technically keeping his rank.
So really, people's arguments are invalid XD.
Yeah. When Han Solo is willing to be a house husband, how can home making be for wimps?
I always hated the trope of house husbands being effeminate wimps. Like... you see women in the office who are feminine to the nines with high heels, skirt suits in various colours including pink, make up, hair done, perfume and accessories yet men who are home makers are always painted as losing all masculine traits? No. Just no.
Last time I checked, when it comes to a career or being a home maker, you never need to use your privates. If you do, chances are, you're doing something illegal and you're a danger to your family.
