I am Mohammad from the Gaza Strip — a young man with ambition. I studied Multimedia and earned a diploma. I had dreams of developing myself and building a future, but the recent war on Gaza shattered many of those dreams.

During this brutal war, I lost the dearest person in my life — my beloved mother. I was devastated by her loss. Our home, which we had only lived in for two months, was destroyed. After waves of displacement and a prolonged siege, my father was arrested by the occupation and held for a full year, which deepened our suffering.

Just a few months later, I lost my older brother — our protector and source of strength during the darkest times. Now, only my younger brother and I remain, trying to survive with what little we have left — of ourselves and of our dreams.

Please help rescue us from these harsh conditions. We are in desperate need of your support and solidarity. Stand with us so we can continue, despite the pain. You are the hope we cling to.

My name is Mohammed, a young Palestinian from Gaza.

Before the latest war, we lived a simple and peaceful life. Just two months before everything began, we had barely finished building our new home. But in an instant, everything changed. Our house was bombed while we were inside, leaving it in ruins. My mother and several family members were killed in the attack.

I managed to escape with my father and younger brother to a shelter, where we were trapped for 14 days with nothing to drink but rainwater. We survived that time only to return to our destroyed home, which was now in a “red zone” marked for evacuation. We sought refuge at Al-Shifa Hospital, but the war offered no safe haven.

To find food, we ventured out at 2 a.m. in freezing weather to wait for aid trucks. We witnessed unimaginable horrors, including the aftermath of the Al-Nabulsi massacre, from which we barely escaped. Days later, Israeli forces stormed the hospital, arresting my father and leaving my brother and me alone. We lived through harsh days without food or safety, enduring psychological torment and constant fear.

After my father’s arrest, we were forcibly displaced to the south without money or shelter. Now, we live in a small tent, battling the cold and hunger. My younger brother lost an entire school year due to the war, and I lost everything—including my laptop, which was my only means of work and income.

Today, we are trying to rebuild our lives. We need to raise $10,000 to cover the costs of coordination and travel to leave Gaza for Egypt. This amount represents our only hope for a new beginning. I dream of working to support my brother’s education and building a life far from the destruction and slow death we endure here.
