𝙁𝙞𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮🏋🏻‍♀️ Okay first of all idk why my hand looks like an alien hand 🤣 So anyways its fitness Friday for me! I just want to mention my all time favorite stretch: The Butterfly Stretch. I LOVE hip opening stretches. To me it's like when you clean your eyes with a Q-Tip 🤣😅 my chiropractor said I have Bursitis in my hips and knees so this feels super amazing when I just need a good stretch! boundaries are a great way to let people know about yourself. once you establish clear boundaries, people around you know what's okay and what's not okay, when it comes to interacting with you.

never allow anyone to behave with you in a way that you don't appreciate. it puts at risk your self-respect. be kind and polite but let people know what works for you.

Does anyone else feel super jealous and down when they see others posting maternity photo shoots with their big round bellies? I long to experience that for myself. Sunday Service

Hello everybody! I haven't posted much lately due to a depressive episode and then just plain getting busy with my days. As you can imagine driving almost everyday for 4 hours to see your baby in the nicu can be very tiring and time consuming!

Today I want to share how my church service touched me and made me just want to do better at releasing my control on my life and giving it to God. Our guest speaker focused on the topic of changing our attitudes about the trials in our lives. Yes, it sucks and is hard; but God is using us to build our spiritual strength and possibly those around us as well.

So of course I think back to all of this chaos me and my boyfriend have been through the past 3 months. Yes, it sucked. I was depressed. I was scared. I was confused. I felt numb and lost. However, I never once strayed from my faith. If anything it grew stronger inside me. I kept telling my boyfriend "Everything happens for a reason..I don't know what the lesson is in this.. but I know we will figure it out one day." I still can't tell you why we had to go through it. The possibility of losing my own life to hellp syndrome. The possibly of our first born baby never being able to come home with us.. but she is thriving. We have both grown stronger together; And now we are so close to bringing her home 💗

The Introduction!

Hello everybody! 

First of all I will begin with a basic introduction. I am a first time mom to a 25 weeker. She is currently in the NICU as i write this post. I developed hellp syndrome / preeclampsia November 30th 2020 (of course 2020 had to give me a traumatic ending to the year). I thought it was just a gas bubble and nothing more that I was walking into the hospital with. Little did I know I was about to be flown 2 hours away with a systolic blood pressure of about 200. December 4th 2020 I gave birth (emergency c-section) to a beautiful baby girl weighing 1lb 30z. I didn’t to see her for the first two days. Just as i was starting to find my hope and accept my situation, we got the news that Baby Brida has a grade 4 brain bleeed. My heart was shattered, I was numb to reality, and I  was sure I was going to lose my baby. 

Brida is now 2 months old (actual and 36 weeks gestational) weighing 4lbs 5oz and is thriving. I created this blog to share my story and help anyone I can experiencing preeclampsia, preemies, c-sections, and just motherhood and life in general. I am not here for followers, I just want the help I wish I had and let anyone going through what I went through to know that they are not alone. <3
