October 6th-7th marks the feasts of the goddess Hekate. She governs the crossroads at which we find ourselves several times in life, and guides those transitioning from this world to the next. As such, she is invoked in all matters of travel and transition. The traditional offering to Hekate is a basket of food left at a crossroads where 3 roads meet, to both honor her and to ask for blessing.
