• He notices the small actions you make, going to the bathroom more often and small sounds of groaning and aching

• Knowing him he's probably got an app to keep track so he's always prepared.

• Keeps a stash of your favourite snacks and some medicine to help for the pain

• "Aww thanks Steven, wait how did you know? Oh no did I get it on the bed?"

• He's quick to calm you down, the last thing he wants is you being worried, you had enough pain to deal with and all Steven wanted to do was make you feel less agony and help you feel relaxed as much as possible.

• "Don't worry love, I've got your favourite show on the telly and your snacks, let me sort out the rest"

• You feel your heart melt as he places soft kisses over your head and walks off to clean up the bedsheets.

• You felt so blessed to have Steven and you always made sure make him feel extra special once your period was over *wink wonk*

Marc

• Marc could sometimes be oblivious and not notice the small actions once you got your period.

• But when he hears you quietly sobbing in the middle of the night he instantly new he had to be there for you.

• He gets out of bed and fills up your hot water bottle, grabs some medicine and brings it over to you.

• "Hey baby, put this on it should help"

• He's super gentle with you, scared he might accidently make it worse so he's taking a lot more procation then usual.

• "Thanks Marc, sorry I woke you"

• He shushes you and rubs your back.

• He hates seeing you in pain, he feels hurt himself when he sees your eyes swollen and cheeks puffed up.

• He holds you all night rubbing your back, doing whatever he can to make sure that the women he loves feels loved and cared for.

You were comfortably laid out on your sofa in your favourite hoodie and sweatpants, the weekend had finally arrived and you were dying to just lay back and relax, after running around and saving the world while simultaneously keeping a low profile with your day job you had well earned the weekend all to yourself.

Then your peace had been interrupted by loud banging on your door, and it wasn't the delivery guy with the food you had ordered, those knocks belonged to the one and only Marc Spector, avatar to the creepy pigeon.

"Coming sheesh, who do I have to call to get some alone time-" You unlocked the door and were met with Marc's handsome face.

"Pack a bag (Y/n), we're going to Cairo" he walks past you and welcomes himself into your apartment.

"Come on in, I'm totally not doing anything" you say sarcastically as you close the door.

"Good, our flight is tomorrow morning" he gives you a smirk and goes to sit on your sofa.

"Always something after the other, this dumb rock is never safe" you walk off to your bedroom to start packing your bag.

"Don't forget-"

"Shut up Marc"

"Out of all the boring worms you chose her to help us stop ammit?" Khonsu asks as he looks down at you sleeping form, you had knocked out on the sofa with Marc after packing you bag.

"She kicked Thanos in the balls and lived, who better to ask?"

"Was that before or after she was turned into dust?"

The clock had struck 6 and you could hear the bells ringing across the city as you waited for your date to arrive. He had a reputation for being forgetful but you always forgave him since he was so kind and sweet.

Steven Grant, the man who had stolen your heart with his sweet ramblings and constant attention, you were absolutely smitten for him. You loved watching his puppy dog eyes every time he talked to you, always making sure he wasn't boring you or being too annoying. You always made sure to remind him how much you appreciated every second you spent with him.

You pulled out your phone and dialed Steven's number, a smile formed on your face as you looked at his caller ID image, it was one you took of him with ice cream all over his face.

"Aww please pick up~" you said to yourself as the phone kept ringing.

You really wanted to go out tonight with him because it had been a while since the two of you had gone on a date.

Half an hour had already passed and you slowly gave up on Steven showing up, and just as you got up from the bench you saw him walking past you.

You were in disbelief, the man you had been waiting for had just walked by you as if you were a stranger. As you try to catch up and get his attention he starts to up his pace.

"Steven! Hey-" you yell as you chase after him. He looked like he was in a trance, you couldn't read his face as you would do normally and his eyes looked cold, not the soft  ones you would normally gaze into.

As you followed him through the back roads you notice his clothes had slowly begun to change, his casual attire had turned completly white along with a cape, he almost looked like a superhero.

"Steven what are you doing?" You stop behind him trying to catch your breath.

The man you loved had started to pick a fight with some random street thugs, a few of them even had knives, but Steven still managed to knock them all out with a swift punch.

Unsuspected to you a few more approached from behind, you tried to run away and avoid being dragged into the fight but one of them had grabbed you by your hair.

"Where do you think your going bitch?" he grabs a hold of you roughly and places a knife at your throat, you could feel tears slowly stream down your face in fear.

"Steven!" You scream, he turns to look in your direction and you watch as his hood disappears to reveal his face.

"Let her go, she's got nothing to do with this" he shouts in anger, he may have looked like Steven but he sounded nothing like him, his cute British accent was gone and the way he spat his words out was not like Steven at all, who was this man with your lovers face?

"Haha I don't give 2 shits" the armed thug digs the blade against your neck, you could feel a small amount of blood start to gush out.

You looked back again at Steven or whoever he was, he quickly pulled out what looked like knives and sent them flying straight towards the assailants. You could feel his tight grasp soon let go and they fall to the ground.

You turned around to see a moon like knife lodged in their heads and blood dripping everywhere around their bodies.

"They're- they're dead, aren't they?" You cover your mouth in shock and take a few steps back. "Steven, what the heck is going on ? And why do you sound different ?"

You take a deep breath and walk upto him, his face was coved in blood, most likely not even his own.

"I'm not Steven" he replies softly which surprised you since all the bodies he had just dropped.

"Then who are you? And why do you look like Steven? My Steven!" You watch as his clothes retun to normal and he wipes the blood off his face with his sleeves.

"I'm Marc Spector, and-shut up Steven, I'm telling her now" you look at him in confusion, why did he just tell Steven to shut up? So many questions flooded your mind as you watched Marc argue with his own reflection, you almost wanted to laugh in shock but held it in.

"Let me talk to Steven" Marc stops arguing with himself and he turned to look at you.

"Can't do that, I know Steven, he won't give me the body back"  he was stubborn but you had a proposal in mind.

"Steven listens to me, if you let out I promise he'll  gives the body back to you" Marc looks at you for a second, thinking it over in his head.

"Will you?" He turn to look back at his reflection and then let's out a large sigh "Fine, take the body Steven" and with that he raises his head and eyes roll back.

"Steven ? Baby is that you?" You walk upto his and place a hand on his chest.

"Oh my lord, look at what that bellend did!" He was back, your Steven was back, you pull him in for a tight hug and feel his arms wrap around you.

"I'm so sorry love, I should've told you sooner, Marc wouldn't let me, said you'd be put in danger" you look up at him, his hands come up to your face wiping your tears away.

"It's okay Steven, I'm just glad your safe" he pulls you in for a tender kiss, you could taste a little blood due to his cut lip but that didn't bother you in the slightest.

"I've got so much to tell you, remember those Egyptian gods I told you abo-" you smile and place a finger over his mouth.

"Steven honey, I know we've got a lot to catch up on but maybe we should move before someone sees us around these dead bodies?" You watch as Steven mouth forms on 'O' and gives you a quick nod in reply.

"Yeah good idea sweety, let's pop over to my place, I've got so many things I need to show you!" He takes a hold of your hand and the two of you start to make your way.
