Jane Austen taking my face between her hands: you are very young you are going to make absolutely catastrophic mistakes you are going to probably come close to ruining your own life but there are ways of coming back from that ok as long as you really try to do well and surround yourself with good honest people you'll probably be fine in the long run.

I’m both the beauty and the beast. The alpha and the omega. The prince and the princess. The barbie and the Ken. It really depends on the amount of sugar coursing through my system.

I love Better Than Revenge because Taylor drags a bitch and objectifies a man at once and that’s what life is all about

I’ll never get over Hozier calling out his lover’s name until his fever broke the same way people pray to their God to heal/save them because to Hozier his lover is his God.

I relate to Joan of Arc because I, too, am burned (out) and sometimes have visions that are demonic.

Hozier is for girls with praise kink, Chase Atlantic is for girls with degrading kink, Taylor Swift is for burned out, former gifted girlies and these three are the holy trinity of our generation.

“He’s the love of my life and he is too pure for this world. I would do anything to protect him.” Me talking about my favorite fictional character knowing damn well he is a manipulator, a mass murderer, committed several crimes including kidnapping and torturing, has daddy issues, is selfish and willing to risk everything for his goals and would probably sacrifice me if we ever met or commit hate crimes against me at the least.

I think the opening lines of Lolita sufficiently describe Humbert’s feelings towards her throughout the book. He says she is « Light of my life » Because a sick part of him actually did love her whether or not in a fatherly way. « Fire of my loins » he then goes to reduce her to a sexual object. « My sin » he acknowledges that what he is doing to her is sinful, immoral and unforgivable by all the heavenly and earthly laws. « My soul » he imprints her in the deepest, most intimate parts of a man, giving her higher and purer significance in his life than just a fire of his loins. The book is NOT romantic, he abused her on so many levels but these lines summarize how he felt about her at least from his point of view.

On one hand Mal said “I’ll find my way back to you”, “I’ll meet you in the meadow”, “I see you now”. On the other hand The Darkling said “you and I are going to change the world”, “I’ve been waiting for you a long time”, “fine, make me your villan”
I want my childhood friends to lovers trope but I also want my falling for the villain trope so you see my struggle ?

You know what is fucking raw and beautiful ?? When Hozier sang “and the sights were as stark as my baby and the cold cut as sharp as my baby and the nights were as dark as my baby and half as beautiful too.” He didn’t compare his lover to other things he compared other things to his lover because to him his lover is much more, is the point of reference. Starker, sharper, darker and much more beautiful and I cry when I think about that

“For just a second, I saw Persephone, pomegranate in hand. Dooming herself to the underworld. Is that who I was? Hades himself, coveting springtime, stealing it, condemning it to endless night.” Midnight Sun - Stephenie Meyer.
