heeey i decided to change around my account a little bit by adding a new profile picture and header, i hope you like it!

a lot of people have asked me why my account isn’t marauders or harry potter themed, i guess it’s just because i’ve seen so many other accounts that have really similar themes, i wanted to be a little different! sorry if i upset any dark mode users with my white borders lmaoooo. anyway, it’s still pink so the change shouldn’t be too shocking.

sirius’ secondary house is hufflepuff

a concept

let me explain

so like i have this idea in my head that sirius is one of the most inherently lovely people on earth

i don’t know why

but it’s there

and so like we know that james is pure, unmatched gryffindor, nothing else considered

remus was nearly ravenclaw since he’s very analytical and genuinely enjoys learning

and peter is slytherin because unfortunately he would rather earn the favour of the dark lord to protect himself rather than protect his friends

so, sirius

sirius is a little bean as you may have gathered from my other posts

but i feel like barely anyone talks about his hufflepuff aspects, mostly because they’re very masked by what i feel like is defensiveness due to his past

he feels like he needs to be completely gryffindor to make sure that everyone knows that he is definitely not like his family, it was a more extreme way to appear rather than being quiet and kind if that makes sense

anyway

let’s get on with his traits

so we all know sirius is very very very loyal

“i would have DIED”

he has always been shown to be a really dramatic, all or nothing character

(pretty gæ)

but what about the not so dramatic aspects of his loyalty?

things like not wanting to be in the common room without one of the other boys in there

declining multiple people’s offers to go on dates to hogsmede if he already had plans with the marauders

waiting for the one of his friends outside of their classroom if they had the same subject next

he knows how it feels to be given the cold shoulder, so he never ever wants one of his friends to feel that way, even if it’s over something small

i also think he’s an extremely kind person when presented with the opportunity

like yes, he has a lot of male bravado, but i feel like that’s very influenced by people around him

when it’s just him he’s very sweet and thoughtful

he likes to surprise the marauders a lot with their favourite things

he adores hugs

he helps the tiny tiny first years find their way to class (cause back when he was a tiny tiny first year he’d get very confused, being one of the smallest in the year)

finally, i can see him being really hardworking when he wants to

i think he probably gets this again from his upbringing, not wanting to mess anything up or disappoint anyone

he knows when he studies with remus that he does actually need to do the work, so that remus will be proud of him

he tries really hard to be the best beater he can be for quidditch

and in terms of pranks, he’s always looking for ways in which they can be more memorable and funny, sometimes working overtime to prepare them

so yeah, idk if i explained this well but here it is anyway and i hope you enjoyed it

people have been asking for more possessive remus for literally ages so here we go

so last time the post was more specific to one scenario i made up in my head, so here’s a more general post

remus is p o s s e s s i v e

sirius is his

and nobody else’s

he had always felt protective over sirius mainly because he got a lot of hate at school for being a both a black and a gryffindor at the same time

it started off as a few small things to make sirius feel safe, since remus knew he was secretly quite an insecure person

things like a lingering hand on his back, angling himself towards sirius when they sat down, standing slightly in front of him when confronted by the slytherins

remus wanted sirius to feel cared about, that was all

right?

honey, no.

you’re in love with that son of a bitch.

anyway

remus’ need to protect sirius became a lot more intense when sirius started dating people

he suddenly had a piercing jealousy whenever he saw sirius with someone else

his jaw would clench, he’d tighten his grip on whatever he was holding, impatiently tap his foot

when sirius was with him however, he would be quite reserved i imagine

he wouldn’t touch sirius like he used to to calm him down, just lecture him about how he thought that sirius was too good for the person he was dating, or how he shouldn’t be going so fast with them

i imagine this to be the build up to a fight between them, where sirius asks why remus is always so critical of his relationships

and remus gets angry and tries to defend himself without also giving himself away

but in the end, they kïśšŷ

followed by remus saying:

“i want you to be mine, okay? i can’t stand seeing them with you. it makes me feel sick. you’re mine. mine.”

and sirius is like “well damn i guess i don’t have a choice”

jOoking he was into it

this is when things get reallllllllllly cute

because now, they’re actually in a relationship! (finally)

they like to sit in the same chair, sometimes with sirius on remus’ lap, or like this:

and remus likes to hold a hand around sirius’ hip when they’re walking together, just incase he tries to escape 👀

it gets even worse (or better, depending on how you look at it) when it’s around the full moon, since this is when remus is the most wolfy

he stares intently at sirius from across the room, puts sirius in his jumpers so that he smells like him, hugs him from behind when he’s tired

okay so

both sirius and remus love a good bath

remus because it takes away a lot of the tension in his body around a full moon

and sirius because he freaking loves bubbles

like it’s an issue

the baths usually take place when both of them are a little down and don’t really feel like doing the do that night if you know what i mean

so they like to climb into the cramped common room bath together and relax in the warm bubbly water

remus brings a lavender scented bubble mixture from home and it’s sirius’ favourite thing ever because it smells like reeeeeemmmmmyyyy

also a bath usually invites a whole lot of sirius hair combing which sirius a d o r e s

anyway let’s get to the point

baths have a lot of slow and lingering kisses

kisses on hands, kisses on heads, kisses on noses

just a tender and loving smoochy

remus likes to give these sorts a lot whenever he’s washing sirius’ hair and sirius is staring up at him biting his nails

sirius almost always has a little giggle afterwards

because this big cuddly remus bear

he is HIS

and that is AMAZING

when they get out of the bath they spend a very long while drying off with the warm towels

(can we just say,,, warm towels)

and they have a lot of playful, short kisses here when they’re dipping in and out of the fabrics

it’s a very complicated and intricate process that takes a very long time

prongs is probably sitting on his four poster listening to the giggling like 😌 ah yes my two lover boys

peter is probably tired wanting it to stop or already asleep

by the time they get out they’ve spent usually around 2 hours in there

whether that be in the bath or just playing with the towels and sirius’ hair

i’m easing myself back into writing so you only get one today 😉

remus has a big appetite

trigger warning! if anyone is sensitive to the topic of food or weight fluctuation then please don’t read this post! having irregular weight is completely normal for some people who aren’t even werewolves! anyway, enjoy the post if you’re about to read it 💕

i’ve seen a lot of posts talking about remus not eating a lot because full moons make him feel kinda ill and stuff

and so i got thinking... what if, since he is literally part wolf, it was the complete opposite?

so here i present to you...

remus eats a lot

so one of the telling signs of remus having some sort of secret was in first year

very early on the marauders noticed how remus most definitely ate a lot

sometimes sirius would catch remus sneakily stealing a piece of chicken from his plate and quickly snatch it away with his fork

they’d have a snack stash in their dorm room, which they assigned remus to fill when it was empty

“well i’m not filling it, because half of this box is filled with stuff i don’t like. james only picks at the bertie bot’s and peter only eats the corners of the biscuits.”

it was when they found out he was a werewolf that they finally understood why he ate so much

they would ask him a lot of questions about it at first, such as...

“rem, do you like meat the most out of all foods?”

“why do you like chocolate so much when it’s poisonous to dogs, and you’re like, part dog?”

“how many mushrooms can you fit in your mouth?” (that one was sirius, very curious)

he would always answer these questions very truthfully, secretly finding them funny

“let’s just say... quite a lot siri”

however, eating a lot wasn’t just another attribute of his, it came with consequences

since during the full moon, he’d burn off a tonne

so he would always be a bit smaller than before afterwards

madame pomfrey encouraged him to eat more to gain back his strength, so he never really stopped

from his boyfriend’s point of view though, every point in the cycle was brilliant

he liked the immediate post moon, since remus would usually let him big spoon

he liked running his fingers across his rib cage and feeling the slight precense of bones there

sirius is very naturally cold, but remus is only really cold at around this time, so he enjoys the extra blankets they have in bed

around the middle of the cycle, remus gets “FRIGGIN RIPPED” as james says

he has regained his regular stature now and has veins for days on his arms

sirius’ favourite part about this stage is the little dip in his abdomen where he would have a six pack “IF he joined the quiddich team!” “more like quiddick team...” (you can decide who said what and in what way for yourselves)

it’s at this point where he gives the best bear hugs, which is especially good for sirius, being nearly a whole foot shorter than him

he often gets smothered by his pecks, which he doesn’t mind to be honest

this is what remus himself likes to call “peak remus form” as he feels minimum full moon effects, he is more confident and he has a lot of testosterone

and finally, around the end of the cycle, a week or so before the full moon, he starts to get a little bit tubby

and don’t get me wrong, sirius ADORES every remus body

but there’s something about this one that sirius has an incredibly soft spot for

first of all, in bed remus is so warm

remus likes to wrap his broad shoulders around sirius’ smaller ones and stroke his hair

and his tummy

he has a little bulge where that abdomen line used to be and sirius cannot control himself

he loves to snake his arms around his waist and touch any exposed skin he can find

he always finds himself resting his head on top of remus’ stomach at this time

and sirius loves to be carried at this point

cause his arms are all soft and he fills out his jumpers a bit more

so it just makes sense for sirius to love, who doesn’t want a very cuddly form of transportation?

nonetheless, sirius loves remus no matter his weight

hi i’ve only just seen this sorry but i took both and i got slytherin on pottermore and mostly slytherin and gryffindor (slightly more slytherin than gryffindor i think lol) on the percentage one. i am very confused.

sirius’ paper cranes

(okay so recently i’ve become addicted to making paper cranes no joke i have 43 hung up in my bedroom and i even made one out of boris johnson’s face so i had an idea to talk about sirius making them because you know that one scene where draco makes one for harry cause he’s pretty gay and so we’re gonna pretend that narcissa taught him to do that cause it’s a black family tradition or something okay okay)

so everyone in the black family is taught how to make paper cranes as a child and how to bewitch them to move and fly around

naturally it’s something sirius learnt how to do as well

it’s a big joke in the marauders that sirius is the least careful person you’ll ever meet

his handwriting is so scruffy (by choice though, to annoy his parents)

and moony is always the one who brushes sirius’ hair in the morning because he knows that sirius won’t do it himself

but one day, the marauders catch sirius in quite an anxious state (which is rare) before christmas break

he usually plays things quite cool, but i imagine this to be around the time where his abuse at home started getting really bad, especially with regulus being more and more favoured for being sorted into slytherin

they see him fiddling with a piece of paper, not even looking at it

at first they think he’s probably just ripping it up, but then they see his fingers smooth down sharp edges and fold them over

what could he be doing

their collective eyes pan around the area where he’s sitting

oh dear merlin

there are dosens, if not HUNDREDS

of paper birds just thrown around the armchair, coffee table and the floor around sirius

james is hella confused, peter is very amazed and remus is... shocked

sirius didn’t even look like he had to try to make the folds perfect

he just did

“mate... why have you got so many birds around you?” james would ask

“well, no different from usual i’d say. all the girls seem to be after him nowadays” peter would joke, earning an elbow from remus

remus would proceed to walk over and kneel down next to sirius, who is still staring into space with a worried expression

“sirius, what are you doing?”

“mmm- making birds, moons” he’d mumble

remus is now completely out of ideas on what to do, so he decides to gently take the paper currently intertwined in sirius’ hands and cup his hands to stop him from fighting back

“no- wait- moony”

“shhh. i think it’s time for bed sirius. you’ve had enough... bird making”

remus takes sirius up to the common room, ushering james to cast a spell to clean up the mess on the floor

and of course sirius has to have a nightmare that night and climb into remus’ bed (a not so rare occurance)

and whilst sirius is laying there, facing remus, half asleep

he says:

“my dad taught me to make them you know. family tradition. kind of weird if you think about it”

remus looks up at his eyes for a second, taking him in

“i think it’s beautiful”

the next morning, it’s time to leave for christmas break and remus says that he has a surprise for sirius

they go outside to see james and peter holding a brown box, seemingly rattling in their hands

sirius opens his mouth to say something, only to be muffled by the mitten on remus’ hand

they open the box and watch as all the birds that sirius made fly out and soar towards the sun

sirius smiles for a moment, then looks at remus for another

he then, in a very siriusy fashion, says:

“bit too poetic, don’t you think?”

and turns around dramatically to head inside

i didn’t really know where i was going with this so yeah lol
