Au where Damian is transported to a universe where his family doesn’t exist and it’s in the time period of when his father first became Batman the Gotham of this world is worse then his Gotham with his father not there or at least his grandparents Gotham is in ruins crime is even crazier then it is in his world he decides to help while he’s there just in till his family can retrieve him

After two weeks of him being there he decides the city needs more help then just a vigilante it needs someone like the Wayne’s in his universe and since his family is taking to long to get him he starts to try and rebuild Wayne enterprises it’s going slowly but it’s helping at least a little but he keeps saying to himself that’s it’s just in till he figures out how to get back to his universe he starts to miss his family more and more as the weeks go by he’s not used to not having them at his side anymore

After a few months of him being a vigilante the city starts to notice him criminals are starting to fear the shadows the newspapers are calling him The dark knight, he’s a little freaked out that they’ve started to call him by his father’s place holder

he doesn’t know how to feel about it he was trying to be a Batman for this universe but it’s weird he starts to feel bad cuz he’s going to leave and then they won’t have someone to protect them

He’s not just getting noticed as a vigilante people are starting to notice him as Damian Wayne some really young looking “eighteen year old” ( he’s actually like 15-16) kid that’s made a new company that’s not as big as it was but it’s slowly getting there he’s starting to see a little bit of change in this Gotham maybe not a lot but it’s at least better then before

With some of the money he’s made he’s able to buy back Wayne manor it might not be called that in this universe but it is now he’s officially been there for about 10 months now he’s still trying to hold onto the hope that he’ll make it back to his universe to see his family

He meets the Gordon of this universe and he’s starts to help him out in his crusade to help Gotham he has a fifteen year old daughter it is Barbra he’s happy to see her and that she’s doing good in this universe he misses her and her help

After two years he loses hope that he’ll make it home he misses his family and wish’s he could see them, have them see all the good he’s doing but they can’t he’s starting to make a difference here and that helps him feel a little better

Wayne Enterprises is doing good it’s becoming more like his worlds one not quite as big but it’s helping, he’s remaking all the charities again trying to help in all the ways he can 

Him being the so called “dark knight” being called that is still weird but he’s warming up to it he misses his father and Richard and he’s starting to understand all the pressure they had being Batman

He’s finally made an actual batsuit but it’s more knight like because he mostly being revered as the dark knight in different cities other heroes are starting to show up he hasn’t met them yet but assumes he will he doesn’t know if the justice league will form or not here yet he’s also starting to get rogues some are the same from his universe some are entirely new it’s weird seeing the ones he knows

There is also another vigilante who’s shown up in Gotham they seem to be young

There going by the name Robin he’s shocked at first since it’s no one in his family and he keeps losing them before he can meet them then one night he meets them they had gotten hurt so he helps them and tries to talk to them they turn out to be an eleven year old girl that looks quite dirty he finds out that the reason there going by Robin is because of the story Robin Hood and that she wants to help those who can’t help themselves

he finds out she’s homeless and untrained he decides to take her in and train her so that she doesn’t get herself hurt, he keeps insisting to himself that he isn’t like his father that he’s not adopting strays he’s just helping her because she won’t stop being a vigilante and she’ll keep getting hurt if he’s doesn’t take her in and train her (he’s exactly like his father)they become the new dynamic duo

He hears from Gordon that Barbra wants to be mayor and to actually help the city he’s glad to see she still cares and wants to help Gotham even if she’s not a vigilante

He also finds Stephanie she’s about one years old he doesn’t know if she’ll become a vigilante like she does in his universe but he’s happy to see her and he keeps an eye out for her

He’s glad they still exist, even though the rest of his family doesn’t 

His version of Batman is a Little different then you’d think you would think he’s much more dark and serious but he tries to emulate a mix of both his fathers Batman and night wing

this Gotham is in much more disarray and is in it self more serious and dark as are his villains

So he decides to be a little lighter then he usually is he’s trying to be a better person a better mentor to his Robin trying to be more open to communicating and being nicer to people he wants to be like dick in a way that people especially his robin, feel comfortable coming to him and the way that dick made him feel more comfortable and helped him when he was having a hard time
