Hey students, here’s a pro tip: do not write an email to your prof while you’re seriously sick.
Signed, a person who somehow came up with “dear hello, I am sick and not sure if I’ll be alive to come tomorrow and I’m sorry, best slutantions, [name]”.
So we all know that Tumblr is US-centric. But to what degree? (and can we skew the results of this poll by posting it at a time where they should be asleep?)
Dandelions are often some of the first grow in disturbed and/or barren ground and are quite good at making it more livable. They're hardy, with long roots that loosen hard packed soil and pull nutrients out of the depths of the soil to shorter rooted plants. Overall, dandelions are excellent at recovering dead landscapes.

[Image ID: headshot of Dandelionfield, a cream and yellow cat with reddish orange stripes on his face. He's scrawny and scruffy with somewhat long neck. His eyes and the background are the same shade of blue. He's looking past the viewer with a sad, tired expression. At the bottom of his neck is a mix of dead and alive dandelions with leaves at the base.]
