The Emperor’s New Groove
As much as I would like to not give the cliché answer, I really do see Blake as a cat. Specifically a black panther. Beautiful, wild, incredibly dangerous, but surprisingly gentle to those within her inner circle.

Tarzan
Blake grew up in two places that both affected her differently:
Her home in Menagerie, where she learned to be an idealist. She participated in every rally she could with her parents, she passionately believed in the cause of making faunus equal to humans in every sense. She thought that if she tried hard enough, she would be able to make a genuine difference in the world. She also learned to be kind here, and to always do her best to help those in need.
Then, when she ran away from home at age 12, she lived in the Wilderness with the more radical Valean White Fang and Adam. Here she learned to be a realist, that the world of Remnant isn't a happy fairy tale. People get hurt, die, and sometimes their deaths mean nothing. She learned how to survive in the wilderness and also how to fight. The wilderness toughened and refined her, and gave her a much more cynical outlook on life.

Gods above, her grip is strong! Blake thought as she winced internally. It wasn't too dissimilar from Yang's grip, actually. Maybe they did similar types of training. Blake withdrew her hand back away from danger. The other student now had the book tucked away in the crook of her arm near her body. Blake supposed just taking the book and running was out of the question at this point. Not when she wasn't even sure that she could grab the book away.
Blake didn't vocalize any of this. "I enjoy them," she murmured instead. "Scarletta is one of my favorite authors, and I've read her works for a long time. I had hoped to get here early enough to be the first to pick it up," she sighed. "But looks like you beat me," she chuckled.
Brilliant Belladona! she praised herself internally. If I make her feel bad, she'll be sure to give me the book instead! It always worked with Yang, anyway, so it'd definitely work here. Right?
ms-belladone:
Before Blake could react, the other student snatched the book from her, holding it in her hand in what seemed to be a taunting way to Blake. She blinked when the other student spoke, and it took her a second to realize that she was, in fact, joking and didn’t want to murder Blake for a book.
…Probably. For safety it was probably better to ignore the joke. She cursed to herself that she was so distracted by her goal that she didn’t grab the book first. This was still salvageable though. She just had to convince this other student that Blake deserved the book more!
“I’m sorry, I didn’t see you. Blake Belladonna,” she said, offering her hand to the other girl to shake. “I didn’t realize there were other people here who read Kris Scarletta’s works.”
“It’s alright, ‘m pretty easy to miss.” Was that sarcasm? Probably. After all, Yarrow was tall, broad, and wearing bright yellow. She opened the book, thumbing through the pages for a moment before smiling faintly at the younger student.
Tucking the book under her arm for a moment, she extended her hand to shake Blake’s in what she hoped came off as friendly and not… bone-crushing. “ ‘m Yarrow. And if ‘m being honest, it’s not for me, it’s for my partner. She was worried people’d make fun of her if they saw her with the book. Not to say I haven’t read ‘em after her, though. They’re not too bad.”

Blake had been waiting for this moment for what felt like years. Centuries, even, and if she might be allowed to exaggerate a little, millenia. This was the culmination of all her experiences, every moment of joy and hardship. All her struggles had led to this single moment of intense triumph.
A new book had been released. Not just any new book, but the final book of one of her favorite authors. Their magnum opus, their ultimate work. Red String by Kris Scarletta had been released not even a full 24 hours ago, and already it was in Beacon’s library, ready for her to check out. Beacon was surprisingly up to date when it came to getting new books added to their catalogue, even fiction novels that some people wouldn’t be able to appreciate. Some might judge Kris Scarletta for her literature, but Blake knew better. Where some might see her riveting writing as some sort of low-brow writing, Blake could discern the truly complex writing as Scarletta dove into the nuance of a relationship between her novels’ protagonists.
So concentrated (or some might say obsessed) was she with acquiring her new reading material that Blake didn’t even give her usual polite greeting the assistant librarian manning the check-out desk, instead bee-lining for the section labeled “New”. There it was! No one had snagged it yet! With a small and satisfied smile, Blake calmly sauntered over to the book, staring with a small amount of awe at the beautiful binding with the crimson colored letters Red String looking back at her. She reached for it with trembling fingers.
“Huh?”
As focused as she was, she didn’t even see the other set of fingers that were reaching for the same book, knocking her free of her stupor. Her eyes traced the fingers up along a dark colored arm clad in the brightest yellow clothing Blake had ever seen, until they rested on the face of a fellow female student, one she had seen before but never talked to. Green eyes stared back into Blake’s own amber.
“Oh. Uh…” she said intelligently, as her brain hadn’t yet caught up with her body. “Sorry?”
Yarrow had been sent on a mission by Ginger to hunt down the latest trashy romance novel in one of her favorite series. After all, people would likely tease Ginger if they saw her checking out the book, but no one would dare make fun of Yarrow. Those that were stupid enough to try would be silenced by a fist to the face – at least, that was Ginger’s thought process. And so here she was, trudging through the library on her partner’s bequest, although she truly didn’t mind. Yarrow spent whatever free time she had outside of school and training in here reading, so her presence wasn’t out of place for a normal day. Plus, it meant secretly reading the book once Ginger was done with it, partially to mock how ridiculous the story was but also to get a glimpse at what normal people felt.
She made her way to the New Release section, eyes scanning the shelves for the title that Ginger had told her to grab. Ah, there it is. Distracted by the hunt, she also did not notice the other person reaching for the same book until their hands collided near the spine. She glanced over at the girl, one of the students in the year below her. Ginger always gushed about the bow that sat atop her head, for some reason. Grabbing the book, Yarrow held it between them with a smirk.
“Guess we’ll have to fight for the death, yeah?

stop laughing- Jaune x your choice
(Come on my man, you know I gotta pick best Jaune ship to exist)
"Stop laughing!" Blake glared up Jaune, who had his hand over his mouth, badly attempting to cover the snickers escaping his lips. She huffed and turned away, crossing her arms. On a less dignified woman her expression might be called pouting. Strong arms wrapped around her as Jaune got himself under some semblance of control.
"Alright, I'm sorry," he said. She could hear the grin in his voice. "But how often does the Blake Belladonna fall out of bed?"

She turned him around and shoved him out of the door to the bathroom, saying “I’m not doing this while you’re in here. Give me some space.” Once he was out, she shut the door and locked it, taking a second to compose herself. She looked down at the box in her hands. Was she trembling? Maybe. It was difficult to tell because of how anxious she felt. Slowly she reached into the box and pulled out a test.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Blake looked down at the completed test. Two red strips looked right back at her. She’d been sitting on the toilet staring at the test for the past five minutes. She... was pregnant. Just seeing that test had her feel a whole breadth of emotions at once. Anxiety, excitement, nervousness, bubbles of joy, love, and a little bit of nausea. Well, that last one probably wasn’t because of the test. Blake didn’t know what to think or how she could possibly process this. What would Jaune think? What her parents think? Well, they’d probably be excited but still! Blake finally sighed and stood, unlocking the door and stepping out. “Jaune?” she said, a complicated look upon her face.

"T-that's not important right now," she tried to stand, allowing her husband to help her up. Walking over to the sink, she got her toothbrush out to start cleaning her mouth out. "In the cabinet over there, there are some..." she hesitated. Saying anything about it out loud would make it seem more real, more inevitable. Not that she wouldn't be elated, but... she wasn't sure if she was ready. "In the cabinet over there, there are some pregnancy tests. Can you grab the box for me?"
Blake started brushing her teeth to get the taste of vomit out of her mouth. Whether or not she actually was pregnant, there wasn't any use in putting off knowing. And it could actually be harmful, to her or her potential child. She had to know. She spat out in the sink, put her brush away, and turned towards her husband.

Jaune followed after her, growing increasingly alarmed. Did she have the flu? It wouldn’t have surprised him; she was definitely overworking herself. True, she was working the same hours he was, but that didn’t mean it was healthy.
“Honey…?” He asked, blanching when she through up in the toilet. He took a quick two step to reach her, and held her dark hair back gently as she emptied her gut. He frowned in concern.
“I’m calling the office, and telling them you can’t make it in today.” He said, tone brooking no dissent. “There’s no way you can fight like this Blake.”
Jaune set his jaw stubbornly, more than half expecting her to argue. But he wan’t going to let her get mauled by some grim because she was being stubborn, even if that meant having an argument. He had no desire to see her in a hospital.

RP starters: Concern.
“It’s midnight, where the hell were you?!”
“Stop keeping your phone in silent, you got me worried!”
“Blood? Are you bleeding?”
“I don’t like the idea of you walking down the streets all alone.”
“I thought I would never see you again…”
“We should get you to hospital.”
“Where did all those bruises came from?”
“I have the right to be worried!”
“Have you been drinking? You look terrible.”
“Sleep at my place tonight.”
“I don’t feel safe letting you be alone when you’re in that shape.”
“Please talk to me about it.”
“Let me take care of you.”
“You need to rest now. Don’t move.”
“How many times have I told you to not go there?”
“You could’ve died, you know…”
“I don’t care if you don’t want my help, I’ll do it anyways.”
“You really need to stop drinking. I’m serious.”
“This time you got yourself into a hospital. I think that’s a sign.”
“Are you sure you’re okay?”
“You need to stop doing stupid shit like that or you will get yourself killed.”
“I’m your friend, of course I care!”
“You know I’m always here for you, right?”
“You’re not okay.”
“I’m just trying to help you.”
“Let me clean your wounds…”
“Why did you do it? Tell me.”

"Oh gods-" she gasped as she ran towards the bathroom. She barely made it in time, vomiting into the toilet bowl. Her legs felt so weak she had to sit on the floor. The nausea slowly subsided as she shuddered. She didn't feel hot or sick, so why-? Her eyes widened. She'd missed her period a few weeks ago, did that mean...?
"H-hey Jaune?" she called.
"I feel so nauseous today..."
“Oh no. You’re not sick, are you hon?” Jaune asked, brow crinkling with worry. He came forward, setting his book aside and rising from his chair, stretching out a palm towards Blake’s forehead. He hoped she didn’t have a fever, but if she was unwell then he was going to take care of her.
