Two Seasons - Rainy

It's that time again

When breeze blew

Like there was no tomorrow

I wished for long nights.

Granted.

But, could I stay longer

Under the sheets?

The answer is obvious.

Of course not.

In the dark corner

Many things are hidden

Some are meant to be

Some are not

But should they remain?

When I napped

In the searing afternoon heat

Something deep in the corner

In the folds of my memory

Moved.

It crouched

I snapped awake

It wasn't bad

But it wasn't welcome back.

Melting Clouds

I dreamt

Of wonderful dreams

Of verdant grasses

Of fluttering butterflies.

These dreams

Formed shapes in my head

Like clouds in the sky

They formed different silhouettes.

But my dreams

Just like clouds

Got blown away

By strong passion

This passion

Is searing

Melting dreams

Melting clouds.

Obscuring my view

Losing my sense of sight

To make these clouds go away
