Grief is such a fickle, neverending bitch. Even when you start to feel peace there is the guilt that if you aren’t sad, you aren’t hurting, that you are forgetting them. Grief, she comes in waves. Pulling you under and leaving you helpless, and aching. I miss Jackson Patrick so much. His laughter, his eye rolling, his squishy yet strong hugs, the way he communicated with very few words.
