Well, wasn't that a curious visual. The man towered over him easily, even curled up like a sowbug, all burned and scarred and blushing - really. That was impressive in itself. He was also stuttering. Clearly lost and helpless. Searching for someone, the blonde gathered. His friend, huh? And their deniable ties to the IPC combined with the name sparked a recognition. He certainly heard of the family but their heir was a lost cause only ever flitting in to claim his eventual heritage. He had no clue how to help the poor thing. He had certainly met his target but he and his namesake never got along well. Too close some might say, yet that was a lie. The blonde shook his head, gathering the metal fingers in his gloved hand to distract the man from tearing himself to pieces. “He will be back, most certainly. He has yet to miss a meeting for something he obviously detests.”, he usually wouldn't give comfort to anyone. But Hawkes? He stroke a chord in him that made him place a soft kiss to the metallic wrist. “If he knows what is good for him, that is.” Hawkes almost made him believe there might even be hope for someone as … 'special' as him.

Now, he had heard rumours. Vague and urban legend things of the IPC were somewhat of a secret passion. But from all things filled in that archive. He wouldn't have considered meeting someone that fit the description of the pocketsystem to a T. A mechanical replacement to the brain, to deal as control unit. A set of mechanical arms. Brown hair, birthmarks... He wouldn't have realized if the can of catfood didn't miraculously appear from thin air. So, what do you do when faced with a living myth. Someone who had escaped the clutches. Someone who breathed and lived the freedom Aventurine wanted but could never reach for. Maybe he was a bit jealous. Alone in his head, faced with a ghost as only judge, he could spell it out. So. He set into motion, gloved fingers wandering alongside surprisingly warm metal arms. “You certainly seem well.. settled doesn't fit it, doesn't it?”, his voice might not be familiar, but if one of the most wanted by the IPC kept up with IPC history he would certainly know who Aventurine was. A look would be enough, and enough to put lips to a metallic hand. “That'll be our secret, right?”

Now someone told him this way a day that was celebrated in a certain way. And that way was showing your affection to your special ones! Sneaking up on Heath was never easy. Impossible even, sometimes it felt like the other could read his mind like the back of their hand. So when he had tried to sneak up, cold grey eyes had already settled on him with something most people would take for disdain. No words yet, that's a good sign. So Hyena took the chance to lunge at the other, ultimately crushing both of them to the floor. Heath had neither the built, the strength or the motivation to catch the blonde. It was all the same to Hyena, he could press his lips to a scarred cheek regardless.

Friend? Friend! Oh it's been too long. No surprise. The universe is a vast and lonely place and with two space-fairing groups – even if one of them consistent of a sole person – it was rather rare to meet like this. But it happened! And Hyena could never hide his excitement and happiness to meet the vaguely feline humanoid. Their spaceship looked like an old car – unmistakable, really! And he was already racing toward the vaguely familiar vehicle once he spotted it. His friend, his dearest friend, was probably feeding the strays on this planet – as he did. Unsuspecting of the lurking danger when he ultimately collided with the smaller frame, scaring of the unidentified space animals – certainly to claim all attention for himself. “Ya're here, here, right now, tis moment. Hm, yes ya're!” and he breaks into laughter, only stifled when he started peppering kisses over the others face.

Manifesting is hard...

⚠️Disclaimer!!! This is just for me to air out my frustrations with manifesting and not to discourage you! I look at this as a purging before something great happens!⚠️

This past weekend I realised that I have a pretty bad self-concept/self-perception. I don't really ever accept compliments about things outside of my looks and I find it hard to accept that people might genuinely think of me as a good singer or studious or whatever. I always think that they are lying to me and trying to be nice. All of this made me realise that possibly the reason I haven't been manifesting or why my manifestations have been coming slowly is because my inner world or self-concept is really really bad! I know, this might be nothing new to some of you as you have all heard this before but to me, it was a shocking realisation because I thought my self-concept was pretty good! But then I realised that what I was calling a "good self-concept" was really just me trying to put on a mask without figuring out and fixing the person behind it. I think this is not only the key to manifesting but the key to life, fixing the person on the inside so that they are able to show on the outside. Many manifestation coaches and the like say this but I think it finally clicked for me this past weekend. Literally, all that matters is the inner world. The stories we tell ourselves and, in my case, the affirmations we allow into it from others. I'm going to be working on my self-concept this week and coincidentally a meditation came up on my YouTube recommendations that tackles this same problem I feel! (I'll link it down below if you're interested!)
