Why do I wear sunglasses on a cloudy day? * * I have learned the art of shedding tears for cleansing purposes. Today I'm feeling soooooo many things. My emotions are super high. In my car, sometimes I cry to release the energy of emotions that are bottled up inside of me. * * I put my sunglasses on so no one can see me cry and I can cry in peace. (Folks be nosey). Let's be clear because some sanctified folks about to beat me up. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but some Gospel music I just can't get with. Now don't get me wrong, catch me on a good day and my soul will yearn for a throwback hymn, some Shekinah Glory, or some old school Clark Sisters among others.. * * But I grew up on rnb music and I be needing that residue of soulful beats, horns, and drums. I need songs sang in a way that resonates with the way I feel musically. Growing up, Mary J. Blige and Faith Evan's stayed in rotation. And because I have a deep, deep love with the eras of the 60s and 70s, I need good soul music in my life, too! I happen to get my fix from artists like Sean C. There is no way your audience can be EVERYONE * * Prior to launching any product you should be researching who your target audience and demographic is. Some of you may have already heard this but still not implementing this information. And you wonder why you're missing the mark. * * When you're promoting a product think about what the users or readers will look like. What type of music they listen to. What type of activities they would be into and go find them in those spaces. * * Even when you're doing your paid ads get specific about your audience.
