hello it’s me again here to disappoint all my followers with the news that I’m a sonic now whoops (say what you will about infinite, he’s fun as hell to draw)

Probably nobody even actively follows this blog anymore but as long as im logged into it i might post a life update? below a cut bc it got long

so uhhhh hi, it’s been about 3 years since i left tumblr (a little less since i officially deactivated my old account and moved some stuff over to this skeleton account). left tumblr over some drama. the drama’s long past now but i don’t really feel the urge to ever come back really? tumblr was never a good environment for me. i’m mostly on twitter these days. what’s happened since then? let’s see. Uhhh, got a boyfriend, we’ve been going out for 2 years (or, it will be on monday). graduated from college, moved back home. got a part time job working at an escape room, which is a total blast. dyed my hair green. fandomwise im still into xs though its mostly a peripheral interest at this point. im working on a big fic project for xs but who knows if itll ever see the light of day. if I do post it though im thinking of starting a sideblog for it mostly bc i have a lot of extra stuff for it that wouldnt fit onto ao3.

anyway, new fandoms! i kinda got dragged kicking and screaming into the sonic fandom by my roommate a couple years ago, mostly via the comics (i was never into the games and still dont find them very appealing). the comics are good though. i mean the first 159 issues of the archie series arent that good but everything after that is pretty great (and the early issues are fun to read ironically). theres a new comic series out now which im really enjoying so far. also i got to meet tracy yardley by total chance at a con and that was pretty fucking awesome. my other major fandom rn is tangled the series, which might sound odd if you dont know anything about it but it’s seriously good, like im not exaggerating when i say its got some of the best writing ive ever seen on a cartoon. it’s up there with atla. i’m serious. it’s got a good balance of humor and action, it deals with heavy topics that dont often get addressed in kids shows, all the characters are extremely fleshed out and well written (every single named character has a backstory and they all get a chance to shine), it’s got good music and gorgeous animation and the antagonist, oh my god, the antagonist is so good. so check that out, definitely. it’s between seasons rn so it’s a good time to catch up. idk i might start using this blog again to post fanart and stuff (which is why i infodumped on my new fandoms up there lol). I didnt do much fanart while i was at school but now im out im starting to draw more again. im still avoiding tumblr though so, idk. we’ll see. uhhhh thanks for reading all that and if we havent spoken for a while id love to chat? send me an ask (maybe remind me who you are if its been a while bc i have a memory like a sieve)

xs chase vs xc chase who will win place your bets now

xc chase is probably more powerful in terms of magical and physical strength but he’s also got less finesse than xs chase, who’s a bit better at planning ahead and thinking on his toes. So it’s a tossup really.

well i havent animated in 3 years and i have never used flash before tonight but here have a thing

thanks to ceeberoni for giving me advice on flash bc i didnt have a clue what i was doing. i still have no clue. but it's nice to get back in the driver's seat and try animating again. time to stretch these muscles and wipe off that rust.
