Hexes Hold'em and Tarot Reading

With 'Yesterday's Lie' out, I was curious about the Tarot Reading done on Vee - even though the cards were from the Hexes Hold'em game, they were obvious parallels to Tarot cards so I asked my friend @a-really-confused-centaur if they could identify any of them. Sure enough! They guessed each card could be respectively: The Moon, King of Cups (Reversed), and Three of Swords - here are the readings below for anyone curious:

I know the reading was for Vee but I can't help but wonder if it was also for Luz cuz if so,, oh boy she's got a big storm coming,,

Mao Mao Secret Santa Event 2020

Greetings, Mao Mao fans!

It's that time of year again! This year has been a very difficult, and strange one. This also includes our holidays being a bit different than normal. But never fear, we are still holding our second annual Mao Mao Secret Santa event!

If you don’t know what a Secret Santa is, it’s when people are randomly assigned a person, which they will give a gift to. The identity of the gift giver is to remain a secret and should not be revealed. You will be exchanging gifts to one another anonymously. Everybody gives and receives!

If you participated in the Mao Mao Secret Halloween event, I’m going to do my very best to make sure you don’t get the same person for this one! It’s unlikely you will, but just in case!

Of course, there are still very important rules attached to this. PLEASE read this whole thing before submitting your wishlist in your reblogs, and feel free to spread word! The more the merrier!

1. This is the most important thing: Do not tell ANYONE who you're making a gift for. Nobody is supposed to know until your submission is complete and posted! If you have any personal issues with who you get, please message me.

2. You need to fill out the wishlist COMPLETELY in order to be registered into the entry list. Please provide details and links to character references, specific poses, etc. Whatever will help the artist/writer understand what you want! Don't be afraid to share your exact wishes!

3. You cannot make changes to your wishlist once the entries close, which will be November 27th. Message me if you need to change something before then.

4. If you are going to enter this event, PLEASE be mindful that you need to have your entry submitted before or on December 25th. If you know you're going to be busy on Christmas Day, please upload it beforehand. If you're seriously struggling with mental health, or you feel unsure that you'll be able to complete this, please take care of yourself first and do not apply. Dropouts may happen in emergencies, but I'd like to keep that from happening as much as possible.

5. Put in as much effort into your gift as you can! Everyone's style and skill is different, but we can tell what's rushed and what isn't. DO NOT submit traced or stolen artwork. It cannot be drawn over official artwork, either. If you are a writer, please try to write at LEAST 500 words! Nobody wants only a paragraph of their request, it needs to have effort as well.

6. Everybody will be paired at random, but artists and writers will be in their own categories. YOU MUST CHOOSE BETWEEN ARTIST OR WRITER, EVEN IF YOU CREATE BOTH. That way, an artist will give and receive artwork, while a writer will give and receive a oneshot/short story. I do this because it seems the most fair to participants. If you have any complaints about the gift you receive, please message me privately.

7. PLEASE tag me in your entry so I know you did it! And of course, tag the person you're giving the gift to, so they can see their request and know who they got their gift from!

8. OCs are allowed, as well as pairings ( Canon/Canon or OC/Canon ). But two things to keep in mind: It all must be Winter/Christmas related, so please don't try to make it all about romance. Also, if you use an OC, please describe them as much as you can, so the receiver can capture their personality.

9. Have fun and treat everyone with respect! Also, please be aware that I'm only one person with college and other events occurring at the same time. If I make any mistakes, please correct me. If you're still confused about how any of this works, feel free to message me and I'll do my best to answer any of your questions.

Heroes on Fire Zine is a Charity Zine based on the Netflix Dreamworks show Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. With the release of the final season, we want to celebrate the show and its diversity while helping the people it represents by drawing awareness and raising profit to help The Okra Project in providing aid and relief to transgender youth of color.

its lookin like Luz is going to take on the whole Emperor's Coven alone (plus King) - and while I think it would be super cool to have Luz go back and get the aid of her friends and classmates, I also LOVE the idea of Luz standing on her own, fighting with everything she has for the person who took her in. Like we're going to get to see just how powerful Luz truly is - it's been hinted here and there: when she and Willow n Gus raised the house and when Luz n Amity did magic during their dance. But this is gonna be ALL Luz this time and I for one, am STOKED to see it

also was it just me or did anyone else get some lowkey religious trauma vibes off of Lilith's speech of "its time for the healing to begin. With her REAL family" - like as if the Emperors Coven is the family rather than just even Lilith and Eda. I dunno but i REALLY don't like the cult-y fanatic vibes Lilith has gone headfirst down and idk how much logic she still has left in her for Luz's confrontation
