How to turn off AI Training of your content on Web and Mobile:

On a Web Browser:

I had some trouble finding this option. My first instinct was to click the settings button on the left, but that's where it is!

First, you'll click the name of your blog on the left sidebar to bring it up on your browser.

Then click "Blog settings" on the right sidebar once your blog is brought up. That's where they're hiding it.

Click "Prevent Third-Party Sharing" under the Visibility section, and bam! You're done.

On Mobile:

Thankfully it's much easier on mobile. Just click the Gear icon on your blog's page, to go to settings.

Scroll all the way down until you see Visibility, then toggle the Prevent third-party sharing option for your blog!!

If you disable this setting on mobile, it automatically synced it to my web browser settings, too. ...But if you use both Web and Mobile, I would still highly recommend double checking that it actually turned off on both!!

Check that it's turned off on your side blogs too! And check your settings every now and then anyway to ensure that it's staying turned off, because if my memory serves right, some other websites will pull some shenanigans on things like this and opt you back in without telling you!

Leave Feedback on New Features at Tumblr Support Here!! Let Staff know however we can that having our content fed to AI at their whim is unacceptable.

You know for the fact that V3 had some of the most interesting and three-dimensional characters out of any danganronpa game it amazes me how much it feels like Kodaka doesn’t actually like or care about most of them.

Kaede the girl who was supposed to be our protagonist is fridged for Shuichi’s development so that he another male with confidence issues can be the protagonist and also probably for shock value, after her death Kaede as a person isn’t acknowledged instead she’s reduced to being Shuichi’s love interest and put on a pedestal as this perfect girl next door type that can do no wrong. Her faults and the things that made her human are ignored and the perfect angle role she’s been placed in is even reinforced when it turns out ‘oh she didn’t actually kill anyone she was framed’. Her free time events in the bonus mode aren’t even about her or her character it’s just more shipping content for her place as ‘Saihara’s girlfriend’. She was so great and was our protagonist and then she just got reduced to being Shuichi’s love interest and dying for his development. Kodaka did her dirty.

Rantaro as the first victim is a little brushed under the rug especially since everyone’s morning how tragic it is for Kaede while we believed she was the one who murdered him. He’s acknowledged a little bit in chapter two but doesn’t become relevant until chapter six where his identity and the SHSL Survivor is revealed and we find out how badly the narrative treated him because Rantaro already lived through a killing game, he’s the one that’s suffered under the killing games and team danganronpa the most. The biggest victim isn’t the one that gets to beat or even see the defeat of the abuser (kind of like Mukuro in the main timeline in a way). It would have been far more satisfying for Rantaro team danganronpa’s biggest victim in the game to be one of the ones to end the killing game. Him having already taken part in the cycle is the one to help stop it how cool would that have been? It would have had more impact if Rantaro was the one to go against hope and despair than Shuichi or any of the survivors. Instead, though he was simply used for ‘mystery’ Kodaka did him dirty.

Ryoma and Tojo were treated really poorly as well because their deaths are completely ignored or even considered irrelevant to the narrative and characters and are literally just there to make the second case and set up Maki’s talent reveal. Ryoma had such an interesting character that’s never explored and I think Tojo’s prime minister reveal and ‘it’s for my country’ falls a little flat and it might have been better if she had more selfish reasons that were pointed out by the other characters. The second case is also an insult to Tojo’s intelligence by not making Shuichi her victim. You’re telling me that this super capable girl who was a made so good at her job that she could run a country wouldn’t go after the actual detective in the school who posed the most threat to her in the class trial and her actually escaping the school? Seriously that’s supposed to make sense? Also when Tojo insults Kokichi after he reveals her plan to get them all killed I was just like wtf she has no right she literally killed someone and tried to get them all killed in her place she has no right to say anything to Kokichi but the narrative has to give the middle finger to Kokichi constantly. But yeah Ryoma and Tojo’s deaths were basically meaningless to the cast and had way less impact than the previous games chapter two deaths Tojo’s choice in victim made no sense for her character and is practically an insult to her character and they literally just died because Kodaka needed the second trial and wanted to reveal Maki’s talent because Kodaka *loves* Maki. Kodaka did Ryoma and Tojo so dirty.

Angie has so much wasted potential being the victim, there was so much buildup with her cult and showing how dangerous she could be and then it just falls flat by making her just another victim but her death almost feels like it’s brushed to the side for Tenko, I love Tenko but god she was another character just used for Himiko’s development. Tenko and Angie both were killed off so that Himiko could have her character arc and even though Angie was a bit closer with Himiko her death is less acknowledged in favor for Himiko to idolize Tenko after her death, but Tenko simply being reduced to Himiko’s character development isn’t the only crime Kodaka did for her, she had this amazing character with her thoughts on feelings and justice, in fact, she was shaping up to be a pretty decent foil for Maki but then it’s thrown away. Kodaka did Tenko and Angie so dirty.

Korekiyo the incest sub plot, why? Why would Kodaka do this. He has a cool design and talent and I kind of liked his character and then his motivations for murder ruined all of it. Just Why?

Kodaka literally made Miu hoping she would be disliked which is a god damn crime but also shows you how much he cares about her character, and Gonta is mistreated because his own fears and motivations and agency is stolen away so that the player and cast can babyfi him and push ‘how awful Kokichi is’ the people who blame Kokichi for chapter four and don’t acknowledge that Miu forced him into a corner and Gonta made his *own* decisions really don’t respect Gonta and Miu’s characters. Seriously though Gonta even asks them not to blame Kokichi and that he made his own choice and they all completely forget about that five seconds later so they can blame Kokichi for everything. At that point, the narratives bias against Kokichi isn’t just an insult to Kokichi but also an insult to Gonta and Miu and their thoughts and character by completely disregarding their motivations. Kodaka did them dirty.

Every person who actually looks at the narrative instead of just taking it spoonfed to them and actually thinks about the game knows that the game and Kodaka fucking *hate* Kokichi @golden-redhead and @tricky-leader have some of the best analysis and salt regarding this and honestly you could write an entire book on the narratives mistreatment of Kokichi, to say that Kodaka did him dirty would be the biggest understatement ever, of all time.

Kiibo, Kaito I could believe that Kodaka likes and just handled poorly. I feel bad for Kiibo and the fact that he was constantly robbed of any free will, he was done dirty but at least here it made narrative sense. Kaito is the hero bro character that I love and so does everyone else but I think it’s sad that sometimes he’s reduced to Maki and Shuichi’s walking motivational poster, Kaito is actually the most interesting and complex when he’s away from his sidekicks and he no longer has to put on a hero persona for them or with Kokichi. I think it says some interesting things that most of Kaito’s development actually comes from his interactions and relationship with Kokichi.

Tsumugi I’m not actually sure how Kodaka feels about her, I don’t think he loves her like he loved Junko but she’s not mistreated or done dirty really, she’s just underutilized. I think Tsumugi had a lot more potential and I wished villain Tsumugi was explored more because honestly, that’s some good stuff waiting to be used right there.

Kodaka fucking *loves* Maki, she’s never called out for her actions and she can do no wrong in the eyes of the cast and the narrative, Shuichi is the gary sue in the fact that everyone loves him and thinks he’s right all the time I get why he’s a detective and you would probably think a detective is the most equipped to deal with a murder game but I didn’t really like it in contrast to Naegi and Hinata where it felt like they had to earn the respect and belief of their classmates who would doubt them or even accuse them of murder, they had to earn their spot as protagonist which Shuichi was basically handed after Kaede’s death and no ever doubted him ever, if Shuichi ever killed someone they’d all be screwed. It’s also clear that Kodaka liked Himiko since she had the most prominent character arc even if people died for her development.

So that’s 10/16 characters that Kodaka did dirty which is more than half the cast which leaves me in a WTF mood, you know? How are the V3 characters the most human when Kodaka proabably doesn’t even actually care about or even like over half of them?

reminder that shuichi has only ever solved One homicide case and it caused him so much anxiety that he doubted every case he solved afterwards.

reminder that shuichi was thrown into a killing game with multiple homicide cases and had a lot of pressure from all his classmates and his environment to get the correct verdict or else they would all be killed.
