I always thought the same thing about Ratchet! Ever since I first watched TFP as a kid his tear lines were the most striking thing to me.

They're like a testament to all the tears he's shed. Ones of fury for the injustices he's witnessed, sorrow for the home he lost, and the pain war has inflicted upon him. But the tears that I think about the most come from compassion. He's a doctor, so of course his patients wellbeing, and possibly their demise, means something. Not to mention the devastating losses and hard-earned victories he's faced with his fellow soldiers.

I dunno if anyone ever noticed this or commented on it but

The way Optimus' eyes are rendered and textured in TFP, always reminded me of tear tracks? The etchings underneath.

Like this gentle man, who so badly wanted peace above all else, had cried so many tears till he had none, that they were now marked forever on his face.

Edit: Megatron also has these tears too

Today my mom told me that Hellboy was on TV and she was going to watch it by herself for the first time, but she noticed it was the 2019 version. She had to double check with me, "That's not the one we like, is it?" My mom is so fucking cute I can't stand it.

"Breathe Easy, Veetor" (Post-Mass Effect 2, drabble (100 words exact))

Veetor’s omnitool buzzes with a new message, the inbox icon blinking. He checks, and sees it’s from Tali, the subject simply reading, breathe easy, Veetor.

Unsure of its meaning, he opens it with some trepidation. 

Veetor, 

Captain Shepard and I bring you good news: we killed the collectors and destroyed their base.

Light-headed, he sags down on a crate behind him, heart thumping, whole body shaking.

He can breathe now. Truly breathe. 

For the first time since Freedom’s Progress, he isn’t afraid of falling asleep, and he wonders how it feels to wake well-rested. He'd forgotten what that felt like.

There is nothing that will convince me Andromedas failure wasn’t solely because of fans inability to move tf on and adapt to a new type of story. Every single criticism of MEA can be applied to literally every other game ever and yet Andromeda is where it’s not tolerated?

If you just didn’t vibe with the game, that’s fine, not everything is gonna hit with everyone, but the way Mass Effect Fans™ froth at the mouth and seethe over a game that does happen to have many issues but is overall a good game in spite of it? Wild.
