Dumbledore and the Third both did these two a disservice in their infancy.

Their infamous backstories isolated them from society.

Apparently teamwork in trios is integral to growth.

An uncontrollable connection with malicious antagonists (Kurama and Voldemort)

Stalker fangirls who later become their girlfriends.

Really cool godfathers who get taken away because fuck them in particular I guess idek.

Any other parallels that I might have missed?

Finished & it's too short 😭

I picked up King In Limbo because of the himbo and the twink on the cover but then I read the synopsis and I'm a sucker for scifi. And that's what ya get: scifi medical mystery. The goofy but strong and caring main character paired with a broken, misunderstood, and irritable partner that's 10 years older was a beautiful dynamic to exlpore.

Now that I read through all 3 volumes of the omnibus, I want more. And there isn't even a big Fandom. I'll have to get the ball rolling and start my own fanfiction probably. This bad boy was first published in 2019 so...thats like rolling said ball up hill. 😮‍💨

If you enjoy bromance stories like Sherlock or Star Trek then I highly recommend. There are some aspects that are pluses in my opinion that are fun to discover by the reader.

This was a series that I probably missed when I had the Great Decade Manga Famine. (Basically, I was just reading fantasy scifi novels and ignoring the manga section.)

So this reprint? was welcome and seemed light hearted and I read it expeditiously not caring to wait until I collect them all.

OOPS.

Now I gotta wait until volume 2. Fix it manga-jesus. I regret my life choices. Next volume comes Feb 2025.

I don't always seek these sweet innocent series but I'm particularly drawn to this 2014/2015 manga atm. Maybe it's the Howl-like male characters? And I always had a soft spot for mythology. What really sealed the deal in purchasing this one is that the first volume is dummy thick. Probably two volumes in one.
