I just saw The Eleventh Hour and dear god the quality is so much better than the other seasons. I have to say though, I was really liking the shitty effects, they were fun. When I saw the intro I was literally in shock.

Matt Smith is so good!!!! I didn’t have much faith in him as The Doctor (he’ll always be Daemon Targaryen to me) but that was a really really good first episode.

I also loved Amy but probably something tragic is gonna happen to her at the end of the season, as it always does. I don’t wanna keep crying with this show.

I just finished season 1 of DW and I didn’t understand something (btw, I saw seasons 2-4 before the first one)

If Rose absorbed (is absorb the right word? saw?) the time vortex and didn’t die (although she was probably going to if the Doctor didn’t take it out of her), why did Donna had to die at the end of season 4? She was only half time lord whilst Rose had the time vortex inside of her (or something like that), so isn’t Rose’s situation much more dangerous? Like, couldn’t the Doctor take the time lord part out of Donna somewhat like he did with Rose?

(I should rewatch the episodes because they probably answer this though)

A few days ago I finished season 4 of DW (for the first time) and this just got stuck in my head

I don’t think that meta crisis doctor committed genocide because he was more similar to how the doctor was when he met Rose (I don’t remember exactly, but he said something along those lines). I think he did it because of the fact that he is half human. Don’t think of it like he’s half Donna specifically, just half human. And is that humanity what made him kill the Daleks.

Does this make sense?? Like, the human emotions and actions are what drove him do that. Maybe because when we are affected by something, we want to put an end to that no matter what. I don’t know what I’m saying anymore, it’s almost 5 am.

this were my thoughts right after watching tenth dying:

i didn’t see it coming. I THOUGHT DAVID HAD ONE SEASON LEFT. BUT NO.

I CANNOT believe that they made him die ALONE. COMPLETELY BY HIMSELF. The main conflict of tenth thought these seasons was that he was lonely, and he just died alone. I know, I know, he didn’t die as such, he regenerated, but in “the end of time p1” while the doctor was talking to Wilfred he said that when he regenerates is kinda like dying in a way. SO, i wanna kill myself.

It is truly heartbreaking the fact that for the past four episodes he was alone (like, without a companion). After everything he went though he decided it was for the best, for him to be by himself, but we know how painful it was for him from all the other seasons. And tenth just died alone. Now I get the ‘i don’t wanna go’, I was seeing it all over twitter and now it makes sense.
